Due to the fact that the package does not tell you what you did, I can only share what I did with you. Due to my allergy to the adhesive in bandaids, I had to remove it at night. As a result, the skin where the adhesive was stuck had a red appearance. I was pleased with the results after 4 days of waiting for the skin tag to fall off. I may not leave the pads on for as long if the area is really red. The length of time may also depend on whether your skin is allergic to the ingredients or how well the pads are tolerated. It is up to you to use your own judgement when it comes to your skin and I would not recommend using it on the face.
