Prurigo Nodularis has no known cause or cure, according to popular belief. Topographically and in terms of growth habits, warts and PN nodules are similar. Dermatologists could only offer me electrical cauterization, so I decided to try shaving the nodule down to smooth bare skin, leaving the nodule core exposed, then applying three layers of Duo Film and covering the spot with a fabric bandage after it dried. For a week, I repeated the process every two days. All eight nodules vanished, never to be seen again.
To stay put, this product should resemble a gel rather than water. When you try to put it on, it just drips all over the place. The applicator is just a flat piece of plastic with no way of holding the liquid. It dribbles all over the place. It was very messy, and you had to clean it off your skin or else it would "burn" the rest of your skin, not just the wart. It had a mild burn sensation that lasted only a minute or two, but it was nothing to be concerned about, even for small children. The product began to break down the wart as it should have (no product can remove the wart's root unless it is used for four months- Who has that kind of time? I wanted to hide the wart on my finger until I could see my dermatologist, and it worked quite well, though it was a pain to apply to your skin and a bit messy.
This stuff works like a miracle, and I'm so glad I found it online. It used to be that it could only be obtained through a doctor's prescription. It was prescribed for a planters wart on my foot that I had. After a few years, I developed a problem wart, which my doctor was able to treat. Because it kept coming back, it was burned and then deeply lasered. When I told a dermatologist what had already been done, they advised me to get this product, which I could get at the pharmacy (without a prescription) at the time. I can't find it in any stores anymore. I'm so glad I came across it!.
yes. It's inconvenient that you have to use and change this every day for a few weeks, but I keep using it past the point where you're supposed to, meaning I let it irritate my skin until it's red, because if it doesn't get to that point, the stupid suckers grow back, but if I keep applying it when my skin is already red, the virus is effectively eradicated. Because I'm pretty sure I got rid of several layers of skin, I've never had a virus pop up in the same spot after using it. lol.
I'm not a fan of the odor - It has a strong nail polish-like scent to it. I wish the instructions for how to use this were more detailed. However, reading the reviews clarified a few points. But, on the whole, this is a good product that I've had for a while and use at least once a day. I forgot about it at times, but it has made a difference in the time I've had it.
The product packaging earns me a one-star rating. I placed a two-pack order. When my order arrived, I was given two boxes, exactly as I had requested. One box, on the other hand, contained only the sticky tabs and no liquid bottle. I contacted the company but did not receive a response. br>br>It's simple to use the product. It was well-written, and the sticky pad made it easy to cover.
My son's foot isn't protected by the coverings. They start to fall apart.
