Hi Jen - I had about 4 months until my order was due to expire when I placed it. I inquired about this with the dermatologist, who stated that as long as the package is sealed, you can use the products up to a year after the expiration date and get the same results.
Nope. These are incredible! Simply pull it out and save a piece for the next time; use it every day for a few weeks and planter warts will be a thing of the past. My children's feet are the only thing that has worked. To keep it in place, I use a piece of fix tape over the top.
It's not something I'd use on my face.
Unless someone has old stock, all Mediplast is now made in the United States.

The ones available on Amazon have a flaw. I purchased these in the hopes of avoiding having to return to the doctor's office, but they are too thin and do not contain any medication. Take a look at my photo. The item on the left is thin and light-colored, while the one on the right is from my doctor's office and has the same packaging and ingredients list, but you can see the medication on the pad and it is much thicker. The ones on Amazon are very old and are either knockoffs without medication or too old. I'm not sure, but I feel let down.
As other reviewers have noted, the formulation appears to have changed in recent years, resulting in a reduction in the thickness of each plaster. However, I don't believe the difference will be noticeable if you change the plasters once a day. The product remains highly effective; however, there is less of it on each pad. br>br>I wish they'd work on perfecting their adhesive, because they don't really stick unless you use medical tape with them. br>br>In comparison to the tiny little plasters that come with other salicylic acid products, this product is an incredible value. This is enough medication to treat stubborn warts for several years, which you should not require. br>br>PSA: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be By the way, I've heard that Duck Tape can be used as an improvised medical tape with this product and in other situations. Duck Tape's adhesive backing contains industrial solvents, industrial adhesives, and formaldehyde, and Duck Tape has never been medically evaluated for safe use on human skin. It is unquestionably not sterile, and it is unquestionably cancerous. It is extremely dangerous to come into contact with human skin for an extended period of time.
I've been using them to get rid of three deep plantar warts I have, and I've gone from walking on a lego to just a poke. The discomfort has almost vanished. These strips are definitely working their magic, but it is not in any way painful. I'm adding photos to the review from before to now, and I'm not even halfway done!.
I'd tried every over-the-counter remedy I could think of. My foot doctor tried freezing it several times and then injecting it a few times when that failed. I tried these because I was out of ideas and they were extremely painful and ineffective. It took about three months of changing them out every two days during the week and letting them dry on weekends to complete. On Sunday nights, I would soak my foot in hot water for about 20 minutes before removing all of the dead skin with a sand paper block. The skin returned to normal after some time. This is something I've been dealing with for a long time. I'm so glad I tried this product; it's been about 6 months since I stopped using it, and the wart has vanished completely. This is an excellent product.
I've only ever seen one wart cure that actually works. On my first-grader's thumb, there was a persistent wart. We used this and followed the directions on the website of the University of Wisconsin Medical School: apply to wart, wrap with electrical tape. 5 days on, 5 days off Take a two-day break from it. File it down with a nail file until it bleeds or hurts. For another five days, use electrical tape. It died completely after the second round and has not been seen since.
I suppose I should have read the negative reviews before purchasing this product; I previously used Curad Mediplast, which I purchased from a pharmacy, and it worked wonders. It clung to my skin like glue, and I had to peel it off after two days, even after showering with it. This batch, which was purchased on Amazon, does not work in any way. It doesn't stay on; by the time I walk from the bathroom to the bedroom, the patch has disintegrated, and even just looking at it, the medicated portion appears to be much thinner than the one I previously used. I'm disappointed and angry with myself for buying such a large quantity of this inferior product.
Though the verdict is still out on this item, I have a Wart on my index finger and about halfway through my doctor's office he did freeze it, but that was all, and then I decided to purchase it because I had a slight feeling it wasn't quite full based a thorough examination br>At long last, the wart has vanished. YES, the hemp oil was extremely beneficial. RAW Full Spectrum Hemp 500 from "CURED HEMP OIL" was used. CuredNutrition is a company that specializes in the production of cured foods com 1 0z. I paid $75 for the bottle. 00! Ouch, I have the nearly empty bottle sitting on my desk. I'm going to do some research and try to find something comparable that isn't so expensive. This product was ordered from Canada, and it isn't available on Amazon. And no, I don't work for them or receive any sort of compensation from them. I also have no affiliation with any health company. I do, however, try to share what I've learned with others here. Do your own research, as I always do. br>*Between the freezing and my doctor's visit The wart has vanished thanks to Full Spectrum Hemp Oil!.
My doctor suggested this treatment for some stubborn warts that refused to disappear. Don't let the price put you off; the box contains 25 2x3 pads. It's simple to cut to the required size, and the treatment is embedded in a mole skin-like pad with adhesive on one side, which I cover with a bandage to keep it in place while walking. I remove the dead skin and apply a new treatment after I bathe. It appears to be effective in treating plantar warts that have resisted conventional treatment.
