Questions & Answers

Do you think this product can get rid of skin tags as well?

Good day, Michelle. I am not a physician or any other type of medical professional. I'm just telling you about my skin tag experiences. I was able to get rid of my skin tags using two different methods. One option is to use a product that can be used to freeze warts. The trick is to grab the end of the skin tag and gently stretch it away from the skin. Freeze the stretch at its narrowest point. I used two doses, and it worked; the tag eventually fell off after a few days. It left a very minor discoloration in its wake. Another option is to gently stretch the tag away from the skin once more and have someone else tie a thin string (or thread) around it at its narrowest point (double or triple knot it). If they don't tie it tightly enough, it won't work (which can be challenging). THIS WILL RUIN YOUR DAY FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES. The tag eventually fades and falls off after a few days. This method only left a small "spot" on one occasion. "All the best!

Is it possible to apply this to the eyelids?

It's not something I'd use on my eyelids. If you have a wart on your eyelid, you should seek medical advice. The eyelid is thin, and this is an acid. It's a little too risky for me.

Is it safe to use on warts on the face?

Salicylic acid, the active ingredient, can cause peeling of the skin. I applied salicylic acid to the sole of my foot to treat a plantar wart and it caused the skin to peel and it took about 3 months of regular treatments to d This has 17%, so the peeling might not be as bad as mine was. Please note that I am an engineer, not a doctor, and this is based solely on my personal experience.

Is it possible to use the coverup discs in the rain? My hand has a small wart on it, and I wash it frequently. ?

This product is not waterproof. However, they are water resistant. They're like a band-aid, but once the duofilm dries and sets (approximately 5 minutes? ), they'll be gone. The discs are mostly for appearance, not protection; they won't come off in water, so they'll still work. The product isn't really in need of being protected. As it dries, it turns white and is visible against the skin, so the discs are merely for decoration. I didn't put them to use.

Duo- Without a doubt, the most effective medium is film
5/5

However, keep reading to learn the most useful advice. To be honest, I'd say that the duo is a success. The only thing that has ever worked for me has been film. On my toes, I had about 5 warts, including some between the toes in the "webbing" and two plantar warts on the bottom of my big toe. br>br>I tried Compound W discs with the little dots that you stick on and then cover with the disc, and they worked really well. br>br>When you use Duo- Film, in the midst of experimentation After reading other people's advice, I've come up with a few suggestions for getting the best results with this product:br>br>1. ) Make use of a two-in-one technique. Always let the film dry completely before using it. In most cases, it takes at least 10 minutes. You can test it by lightly touching the area to see if it is completely dry. Apply more Duo-Lite when it's completely dry. film. I only use the Duo- br>br>2. Film twice. br>br> ) As previously stated, do not place the discs on the product until it is completely dry. It's not dry if the bubble of dried product "pops" or oozes when you touch it. Please wait a little longer. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. ) I've found that applying this crap twice a day yields the best results. Allow for a few minutes of drying time after peeling off the disc. Then:
3. a) Go to the store and buy a cheap pair of nail clippers that you'll throw away and never use to cut your nails.
3. b) Using these inexpensive nail clippers, gently and carefully remove the dead white skin. DO NOT GO TOO FAR, YOU SHOULDN'T BE DRAWING BLOOD FOR GOD'S SAKE! All you have to do now is clip away the deal skin.
3. c) It's critical to remember not to pick at the dead skin with your fingers - The HPV virus, which causes warts, can be found in the skin, and it can spread to your hands, causing more warts! Always clip your dead skin over the toilet or a trash can, then thoroughly wash your hands. 4. br>br> ) After removing some of the dead white skin with a clipper, apply Duo- Every day, film and repeat the process. 5. br>br> ) I had to file a hard wart on the top of my toe with a foot file (that I will only use for this and then throw away) before applying the stuff. br>br>After some trial and error, these difficult-to-treat little buttheads have vanished. Duo- My plantar warts were nearly eradicated after two applications of the film. I had racked up a $500 bill at my dermatologist's office, and they couldn't even get them to budge. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO If you squeeze the cap any tighter, it will snap. The alcohol and other components will quickly evaporate, leaving you with nothing. If you run out of the small discs, you can use duct tape or a regular bandaid (I tried some stupid nexcare flesh-colored bandaids). It sucked because it was made of colored tape. All I'm doing is attempting to save you money. Apart from that. br>br> I never soak the wart as they suggest. This process takes long enough, and I believe I've tweaked it to be very effective on my own; I'll update my review if I think of anything else to add, but that's it. Thank you for your interest.

For me, it was successful! I had a plantar wart on my heel for several months, despite the fact that I had been treating it with the stick on discs since I first felt it, even though it was barely visible (the doctor didn't think it was a wart)
5/5

I started getting a second wart and needed to find something that would actually get the medication deep enough, so I chose this product; after two weeks, I still had both warts but was experiencing an itchiness that felt like a healing cut. The first, larger wart fell off two days later, and the smaller one disappeared. This is a product that I would definitely use again.

This was the most effective treatment for my painful, nagging plantar wart, which I had for eight months before it disappeared
5/5

Finally, I went to a foot surgeon, who used a scalpel to cut off a callus that had formed and advised me to soak my feet every day, scrub them with a pumice, and apply DuoFilm. I didn't do it every day because I work twelve-hour shifts three days a week, but the treatment was effective! I'm relieved that it's no longer there. I tried every over-the-counter remedy I could think of, including compound W and freeze off. Those only added to the pain.

Nope, I couldn't get it to work
3/5

I couldn't get it to work for me. Warts come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and this product failed to meet my needs. Another reviewer stated that patience is required and that it may take several months. That offends me greatly. When that person's wart vanished, it was most likely due to something other than the wart remover. Occasionally, the immune system detects and responds to the virus. br>br>I've had a wart on my finger for over a year and it's still bothering me. I've switched to a different method of eviction.

THIS IS EFFECTIVE! WARNING: THERE MAY BE MISSING PIECES
5/5

I must say that watching this work was strangely satisfying! For almost two weeks, I changed the film three times a day. It appeared to get a lot worse and deeper before it got better, which was strange. Then, all of a sudden, it's gone! There was a huge hole in the ceiling, as if it had just fallen out. It had been fantastic. Unfortunately, we were never able to locate the missing component. It's similar to when your baby wakes up and you have no idea where his umbilical cord is. BEWARE.

Look through the box to see if there are any items missing! So, this listing is for the wart remover and discs to cover up the warts
3/5

I've seen pictures from other buyers, and it appears that there should be a small plastic package inside the box with the cover up discs, but mine didn't have one. The only thing that keeps me from giving this a one-star review is the Amazon customer service representative who just refunded my money. I still need the wart remover, so I'm hoping it works, but the manufacturer of this product made a serious error.

I wouldn't recommend it because it burned my skin and didn't get rid of the growth
3/5

This product did nothing but cause acid burns on my skin. Even if you only apply a drop of Duofilm to the growth, the liquid spreads to the surrounding skin and burns it, leaving raw flesh after several applications. After all of this, the skin growth was not removed. I wish I'd known about the acidic burns sooner so I could have avoided unnecessary scarring. Very let down. It is recommended that you see a dermatologist and receive proper treatment.

Yay! Wart is no longer present
5/5

I had a small wart on my finger that I needed to remove. After a week and a half, this finally worked. Make sure you follow the instructions to the letter. After applying the liquid, I kept mine covered (which isn't required for it to work, but it's the responsible thing to do). It did cause a burning sensation towards the end (which simply means the wart is being killed). If the pain is too much for you to bear, I recommend using the freeze-dry technique. instead of using the off method This, I believe, is a more secure option. However, there is a great way to get rid of the wart.
