Questions & Answers

I'm curious as to when this product's expiration date is. ?

My DuoFilm bottle says 12/2017 (and I bought it months ago), but I believe it should last at least a year longer, as most medicines have expiration dates that are far earlier than necessary. This is a great product at a great price, in my opinion.

Is it okay if I apply it to my face?

I would seek medical advice first if you have a wart on your face.

How did you use it to get rid of skin tags, for those who used it for that purpose?

The doctor froze a couple of skin tags, but it wasn't worth it because they took so long to heal and were extremely painful.

Is it true that the dr. Is it possible that the Schols liquid will become too thick to use before the bottle is empty? Other brands I've tried have "jellies" in their bottles, rendering them useless. ?

When a product thickens, it has reached the end of its useful life. To avoid this, ensure that the cap is securely closed. Volatiles in the bottle can evaporate if the cap isn't tightened, making the product thicker.

Between February and May of this year, I never write reviews and spend a lot of money on Amazon! When I was pregnant two years ago, I had one wart
5/5

Because of my pregnancy and subsequent nursing, I was unable to use anything. It spread quickly! I had five of them on my hands at the time: (And I was enraged and disgusted. ) In the last year, I've seen two different dermatologists. They froze them (which was painful), put a liquid on them, and shot them with bleomycin. For 4- I went to these treatments once a week for five months. Between courses, I drank apple cider. But it was in vain. br>br>I went back to Amazon to look for something else. I bought it in mid-April and my skin was back to normal in four weeks! Like a lunatic! I was completely taken aback by the experience. This product was a fraction of the price of derm treatments that didn't work and caused no discomfort! br>br>I returned to my dermatologist for a full body check, and when they saw my hand, they had to know what I used because it looked so good. A large cluster of a couple was one of the warts in particular. Everything has vanished!.

The liquid wart removers are a better option
5/5

After being dissatisfied with Compound W's current jellied product, I purchased this. Because the DuoFilm is a liquid, it's simple to use. It contains the active ingredient salicylic acid of 2017. DuoFilm's base is flexible collodion, the same stuff that's in "new skin" products and can be used to cover blisters. It has an ether scent and dries to a tough covering that is difficult to remove. It takes about 10 minutes for the paint to dry. Rather than a brush, DuoFilm includes a plastic wand that fits inside the cap. It does the job, but not quite as well as a brush. The DuoFilm wart remover, on the other hand, is a far superior formulation. It's also a lot cheaper; I paid $6 for it. On Amazon, the DuoFilm costs $76. In a drug store, I paid nearly $15 for Compound W. If you're looking for a paint-on wart remover, DuoFilm Liquid Wart Remover is what you're looking for.

I'm glad I chose this product over another brand because it came with coverups, which I had never used before
5/5

Let me just say that this worked so quickly on both my daughter and me that I'm still amazed. My daughter's wart has completely disappeared and the skin has healed after only three days of use. br>My wart is almost gone, but it would have gone away sooner if I hadn't used the concealer. I had it on the palm of my hand and didn't want to use it because I assumed it would come off easily with all the hand washing; My assumptions were incorrect. It's very well adhered to the surface. This is a great way to get rid of warts quickly and effectively.

Sucks
3/5

A wart can take an eternity to remove, especially if it is on the foot. I have a wart on the ball of my foot that I purchased in August and am still dealing with in the middle of the year. March. Buy some band-aids because the little sticky things that come with them will quickly run out. Use a pumice stone on the wart in the shower, clip off the excess surrounding skin every now and then, then apply more of this crap, cover with band aid, and repeat twice a day for the rest of your life! Worse, I squandered $10 on this and $20 on the last piece of crap I purchased on Amazon for this! The return window has closed by the time you realize it's not working! And it's not even a large wart on my foot! I just want to get another pedicure! br>Do yourself a favor and visit your doctor. Nothing, especially the garbage freezing at home, works! Good luck.

Amazing
5/5

It works. I had a wart on my finger and used this for ten days to get rid of it. When I applied it to my finger, it didn't hurt. The only negative aspect is that when you open the bottle, the scent is quite strong. Aside from that, there isn't much to complain about. I'm glad I bought it because I was finally able to get rid of the bothersome wart on my teeny-tiny finger.

I would strongly suggest it

Duofilm, rather than compoundW, seems to work better for me. I've had warts on my right knee for a long time and have only recently begun to treat them. I've gone through at least two bottles of CompondW, two bottles of GreatValue liquid wart remover, and a tube of CompondW gel form. First, the typical liquid wart remover begins to turn into a thick, jelly-like texture after about half of the bottle has been used, which I believe is due to the brush head mixing in some air, so I was never able to finish the bottle. However, because duofilm uses a wand, I get to finish the whole thing, and the ratio of inactive ingredients may differ slightly. Duofilm appears to contain more caster oil; in my experience, it takes longer to dry and causes slightly more pain than the other brand I used, but it performs far better.

My right index finger has had a wort since I was a child
4/5

I've asked the doctor to put a stop to it, but he hasn't been able to do so. It appears to have a root that extends into the flesh of my finger, and when removed, it bleeds. So I treat the wort with wort remover, and as the wort toughens, I cut off the dead wort / skin with a razor blade. So I did it again, and it will go away for about three years, after which the wart will resurface and cause no problems until it grows unsightly and larger in about seven years, when I will have to do it again. This cleaner is effective.

Wow
5/5

I wished I had taken before and after photos. Three of my child's toes had been infected with warts. His big toe had a huge one on it - On another toe, there were two, and on a third toe, there was only one. He had a ring on his finger as well. His toe warts have been present for at least two years. Compound W, Freeze Away, and even prescription medications were used. The wart on his finger was gone in two weeks, and the warts on two toes were gone in two weeks. His massive wart on his big toe is shrinking and nearly gone. There was no scab or wound left by the wart, so it's as if they vanished. This is the same strength as Compound W, but it actually works. I'm glad I came across it, and I've told others about it.
