It all depends on how deep the wart is that you're trying to get rid of. However, it will begin to kill your skin within 24 hours, and I've only had a few warts from the pool. But I've always caught them early, when they were only 3 feet deep. 4mm. As a result, I've only had to use them five times so far. 5 days.
The small circle is applied first (sticky side to your skin), followed by the larger pad.
It adheres to the skin extremely well! Hand washing may become a problem, but these are extremely sticky. If you don't want to use the pad, try applying liquid bandade directly to the disk.
I bought this product and found it to be completely useless (and left a review to reflect this; I will never buy another 'Dr. Scholl's' product). I recommend taking a look at Compound W's products; they're far superior, and I'm confident you'll find something that works for you.

Ok. To those who claim they don't work, you're most likely not using them correctly. And it's true that once you have the HPV virus in your body, you'll get warts in different places (plantar warts are caused by a different strain than hand warts, so if you get plantar warts, you'll get them on the bottom of your feet as well). However, when they do show up, these discs and covers are fantastic! For a few days, the disc is kept in place by the cover, and the medicine continues to work. The key is to wear the disc after a bath or shower, when your feet's skin is still soft. Then, after a week or ten days (3-weeks), 4 discs), scrape off the white skin with a file or similar tool. Then continue to use the discs until the wart's kernel is removed. It takes some time to get to the kernel that is buried beneath the skin that your body has formed around it, similar to how an oyster protects a pearl. All you need to do now is figure out how to get there. br>br>I've used these on several plantar warts (rarely in the same place), and they work much better than other wart medications. One reason, I believe, is that you can wear them while showering, resulting in extremely soft skin that allows the medicine to penetrate deeply.
It's unclear whether they were old or had been stored improperly. I gave it three stars because the product is excellent, but do not purchase it from this website!.
For almost a month, I've been following the instructions and using the product, and the area around my wart has recently turned purple and extremely itchy. As a result, I had to see my doctor, who explained that the fungus infection developed on the skin because the pad kept the skin from getting any air. So, when using the product, be aware of this risk!! I wish the following information was included with the product:.
I wasn't sure if this would work, but I decided to give it a shot. I've had a few plantar warts in the past, but they weren't too bothersome and went away on their own after a year or so, whereas this one was excruciatingly painful. I followed the instructions and the white callous circle began to separate from the sole of my foot after about 5 disk applications (10 days). However, it wasn't completely detached, and removing the disk to replace it was painful. When I pulled off the round pad after the next application, it was stuck to my shoe and hurt like hell, but the entire callous part of the plantar's wart came off, attached to the pad, as well as the very hard "root" of the plantar's wart. I wore a soft sock for a few days because it was tender, but the skin grew back in and there was no more pain! It worked perfectly and took less than two weeks to complete.
On the bottom of my foot, a planter's wart was killing me. Until I was told what it was, I treated it like a callus. It was excruciatingly painful. Most likely due to the fact that I was on my feet for 10 hours or more every day. Dr. dr. dr. dr. dr. , I believe After 10 days, the planters wart remover softened it and SCholls callus remover softened it. The skin simply peeled off with no pain, and the wart with its planter thing came off as well. I now feel fantastic and have canceled my foot appointment. Amen.
I waited until I saw the results before writing a review, and I wholeheartedly recommend these. For about four years, I had severe plantar warts on one foot, and I tried a variety of treatments to get rid of them. When I first started using these, it took me five boxes to get rid of all of the warts. I had to use these every day for a month, but they gradually faded away and are now completely gone. It was only a matter of using them on a daily basis, but it was well worth it.
I ended up just going to a podiatrist, and I was prepared to wait because I had read that these can take a long time to work. I thought these were working, but after two months of following the instructions, I didn't see much improvement. Finally, I visited my podiatrist and had it laser-zapped. A copay was all that was required. Instead of spending two months dealing with these discs, I wish I had just done that the first time around. For the record, my wart was not particularly bothersome. My doctor said they're quite small, and that they might work if you catch them just as they're starting, but that's nearly impossible. In the end, I spent more money on the discs than I did on my one-time copay. I'll just go straight to the doctor next time. I'm not going to waste my money or my time.
I've tried a variety of methods to get rid of two cysts on the balls of my feet over the last couple of years with little to no success. Nothing worked, no matter how hard I tried, even when I followed the directions to the letter. If it appeared to work, they would reappearance very soon after I stopped using the product, so I decided to give these a shot, and I'm so glad I did! It takes a while to work, but it's safe and effective; the smaller one took about 10 days to complete, while the larger one took 14 days. I've been out for about six weeks and haven't seen anything. My toes are no longer rough and uncomfortable.
