a clone of a well-known brand - Underarmour that isn't real

These socks are a complete disaster. I'm amazed at how many people have given it five stars. These socks started to wear out after the first wash. The toe already has a hole in it. The elastic is flimsy and does not keep soccer shin guards in place. The Nike dri fit socks are far superior in terms of quality.

From the UA socks of the past, take a step down

I placed an order for some calf-length black boots. I wore ankle-length UA socks last year and really liked them. Best non- I've worn a wool sock. They're also no longer in production. Sigh. br>So I ordered these, which seemed to be as close as I could get. br>Not good. They are excessively long and do not remain in place. I wish I could track down a copy of the original. These socks are not something I would recommend.

I had two other pairs that fit a lot better, but they both ended up being just below my knee

These socks were ordered for softball in the men's league. They just scraped the tops of my calf muscles. I have two other pairs that fit much better and go just below my knee that I bought previously. I'm not sure if I was sent the wrong size or if they changed how they size them, but these were significantly shorter than I had anticipated, and significantly shorter than the other two pairs I had purchased previously.

Socks are fantastic

I'm very pleased with them. I used to wear Hanes over-the-calf socks, but they are no longer available, and what is available is very thin and of poor quality, so I switched to these. They're a little more supportive and come up just below my knee, which is perfect for my cowboy boots. I like the fact that I can order by size to ensure that the heel fits correctly. Most socks with a heel do not fit properly, and I wear an 8 and these were perfect. These socks are a little pricey for everyday use, but I would definitely recommend and purchase them again. In fact, I've purchased seven pairs in order to ensure that I have enough, and I'll most likely purchase a few more in the near future.

Order/description are both incorrect

The item received was nothing like what had been ordered. The color was the only thing that was correct. As can be seen in the photo, the size is also incorrect. I enjoy receiving Amazon packages, but this time I was extremely disappointed, and I will not be ordering this item again.

THIS IS WAY TOO SMALL! For a bigger man, this is way too tight

We have some older Under Armour socks that fit my husband perfectly, but these, even in the XL size, are far too tight for his large calves; they would be better suited to a man with shorter legs. I didn't realize they were too small until I washed them and discarded the packaging, so I won't be able to return them. I did not dry them. So that's not the reason they're too tight.

It's possible that it'll be more suitable in the winter

I usually wear support knee highs but needed a red pair for a golf tournament. This was far too hot, and would be better suited to the winter months. They're also not very supportive knee highs, which I was aware of before I bought them. They fulfilled the tournament's objectives - But I'm thinking of putting them away for the winter.
