After hip replacement surgery, I discovered that one leg was 2cm (roughly 3/4 of an inch) longer than the other, which was extremely uncomfortable. After frantically purchasing various heel lifts, I discovered that these were far and away the best. I finally match and am able to walk normally instead of galloping after using the two lifts in one shoe heel to achieve the proper height. I purchased a few extras so that I could alternate between wearing them in different shoes or leaving them in one. They're simple to put on and stay in my heel, where they belong, rather than in my arch. I'm not even aware of them as I walk, and I'm not concerned about them shifting. The material itself has a cork-like appearance. They are extremely comfortable due to the fact that they are neither too hard nor too soft.

I had a severe knee injury while mountain biking about 23 years ago, and I've had strange back, hip, and chest symptoms for the last 5 years. I've seen a number of doctors about my problems but haven't seen any improvement. This is the second time I've bought these heel lifts to help with back or sacroiliac pain caused by uneven leg lengths. Depending on the length difference between the lift sections, they can be separated. Because I have to trim the forward portion of my shoes to fit in my various styles, I now have a lift for each pair of shoes. If you have a leg length difference, I highly recommend these lifts.

It was great, but I believe it came apart fairly easily due to friction and minimal sweat. This is two weeks later, and it used to be like this. It felt great, but it won't stack and stay that way forever, so it's no longer useful.

To be honest, it's a bit of a mishmash. The risers have a leathery type top with peal off rubberized layers. br>I LOVE (5star) the results, but I LIKE (4star) the product. It's perfect for fine-tuning your height. br>br>BUT wait, there's more. The brown dye that has been applied to the top leather pad is not permanent. It rubs off on you. My socks are turning brown as a result of the leaches. Any heat or sweat inside the shoe causes more dye to be transferred to my socks. A brown stain has appeared on all of my socks. That does not sit well with me. They don't come back the same way they did before, even after washing. An otherwise good product is ruined by cheap dye. br>- IN ADDITION, the pad in my shoes has a tendency to move around. Any type of active walking, not just walking around the house, helps to loosen the grip. So I use a few dabs of high-quality Geocel Polymer, a soft, flex caulk that can also withstand water, to keep things from slipping. Silicone or hard glue do not heat up as well.
- As a result, in order to obtain the best, most consistent results, I do any necessary trimming for the best fit, then apply a couple of dabs to the bottom of the pad, place the lifts in the shoe, and wear the shoes for 7 to 10 hours. 8 hours of nonstop action. As the caulk cures, this presses the pad firmly into the shoe's contours. Holds the pad in place perfectly.
- This soft, flexible, rubbery Geocel Caulk has permanent glue adhesive properties and fits perfectly in my hard leather dress work shoes, softer cross trainers, and super-soft rubber water shoes. a pair of tennis shoes All of this produced fantastic outcomes. *****THE BOTTOM LINE: Following the purchase of several packs, I give it a five-star rating after installing the pads. 4 STARS for the pad results, but only 3 STARS for the overall performance. I believe they will last because they are made of neoprene rubber; however, I will update if this is not the case. Each of the two pads has three sections that you can mix and match to adjust any differences in leg height. I've been wearing them for about two weeks and they seem to stay in place, are comfortable, and I like that I can adjust the height because my right leg is about a quarter inch shorter than my left. It takes some time to adjust to them, especially when you consider how long you may have gone without one. But I'm in love with these so much that I've already placed an order for a second pair.

Due to a hip injury (labral tear) that causes more pain the lower my heel sinks, I bought these not to correct a length imbalance, but to give my heel a little lift in two different pairs of flat shoes. The cushions are comfortable and help to correct my problem, but I'm having trouble keeping the lifts wedged in the back heel of my shoe; They don't stay put and continue to move forward as I walk. I doubt I will purchase them again.

I ordered the wrong size and height the first time, and I couldn't find a good comfortable height, so I had to trim the outside edges to get the lift to fit in my shoe at all. This time, I did a better job with the measurements; no trimming was required, and the height appears to be just right. My back pain was almost gone in less than 24 hours, and has since mostly vanished unless I'm extremely tired. Curling my toes under on the injured leg provided additional relief, which piqued my interest. By doing this, it appears that I was attempting to bring things back into balance! In a car accident, I was severely injured, and the scar tissue in my knee area caused my leg to shorten slightly. These lifts were recommended (or required) by my physical therapist. She was correct; I am not expending as much energy while walking, and my pain has improved as well.
