It has not been my experience using the product because it is for emergencies only. In addition, the package was larger than I thought, so I could not add it to my IFAK. The item is kept in a large emergency bag that stays out of the sun most of the time. I hope this will help you make an informed decision on whether or not this product will work I have updated. I got to use it. My theory turned out to be more accurate than I anticipated. It is a definite recommendation.

I usually keep an emergency bag with items such as this one. It has never been necessary for me to use it, and I hope that it will never become necessary. It has been receiving positive reviews, so I think it will be a success.
