After thawing at room temperature for one hour, it was ready for use. As for the gel, it remained unaffected by the oils (oils did not separate or disperse) and the foam remained intact. I would say it passed As long as I keep my car, I'll keep it in there. Although a temp of 10 degrees is maintained inside a car or first aid box, it is not always that low. As someone with a medical background, I cannot recommend you apply frozen gel to burns. There is no ice on the burn even when it is cold (it can be cold but not frozen).

I accidentally burned my hand to a second degree on a cookie sheet yesterday and tried it.
