This has been my only way to stick my tattoo for six weeks, and I have never had a problem. You may need to use a different dressing for a certain type of wound. It may be smart to use a Telfa Non-Stick solution if you have something that sticks The adhesive dressing is applied to the wound, and then the abdominal pad is applied over it. is one of the few non-online retailers Dressings can be adhered as well.
There is a symbol referred to as REF in the box on this packaging that precedes the NONxxxxx associated with this product. I believe this is part of the NON for the catalog number for the original vendor. The value of (xxxxx-" Numbers are represented by an x). It is stated on the packaging that the product is sterile until it has been On the packaging above the ABD Pad is the word Sterile as well
Though I am not 100% sure, I do believe they are.
As far as I know, they can be used to keep skin folds dry, e.g. abdominal folds (apron), under breast folds, and the like. It is possible to cut, but the cut edge will be raw and frayed. The one piece of cotton-like material I recommend a lot as an NURSE is white cotton socks and tubes - or taking a white cotton men's t shirt and chopping it into strips to use it as an area cover. If one needs to use something to protect these areas, they fold is often heavy enough to hold in place without the need for A second option I have suggested is to use peripads, such as Kotex. Just keep the adhesive strip on, and tuck it into the area where it needs to be Maintaining a dry and clean area is the best strategy for preventing problems.

This is a good quality 5x9 "abdominal" pad that is packaged sterile. In my days as an EMT, they were always in my kit but recently I had surgery followed by infection in two of my incisions which quickly developed into abcesses. I was not able to use them since they had become cloudy. In both cases, the wounds needed to be closed A small incision is made (by surgery) and then packed to drain infection. It has been over a month since I had surgery, and I still have to change the dressings almost daily to allow the deep wounds to My standard 4x4 gauze was not absorbent sufficient to allow for adequate drainage during the initial period, and it also carried a bit of a rough weave on the sensitive incisions due to its weave. Five by nines are just what I ordered, and I am very happy with them. It is thick, padded, very absorbent, and has an extremely smooth fabric-like weave on the surface, so it does not rub harshly against my incisions or open wounds. If you keep a first aid kit, you must keep these in it regardless for large wounds or traumas. However, if you have an open incision or wound, please know that these are very gentle and you can fold them for smaller use if needed. The product was great, and the shipping was fast. I will definitely buy from this seller again.
Having received these pads in such a poor condition, I am very disappointed. There were no damages to the individual packages, but the boxes were beat up. One box had plastic wrap around it, indicating it left the shipping center in that state. Medical supplies such as these are available. Take them as you would a family member. The sort of thing you cannot throw around carelessly. A good reputation has always been associated with Medline. The outcome is really disappointing to me. In the absence of an immediate need for this size bandage, I would return to the store.
I'm doing wet to dry dressings every day and these help not only to keep the dressings moist, but also to absorb the drainage from the wounds and Moreover, the cream does not allow the wounds to become infected further. Unlike traditional dressings, these do not cling to the skin. The best way to care for wounds!.
The best pads on the market. Pads with the Medline ABD logo authenticated by Medline. As thick and absorbent as those used in hospitals, they are the ideal choice. They will do an excellent job when you use them with gauze to hold at the right place! For under $20, you can get 100 pads. It's an awesome product, and I will purchase it.
A dermatitis under my belly had been bothering me for a while. Was trying to stop using steroidal creams, which may have played a role in the problem. I tucked these in nice and tight under the fold, and a week later, the rash has lessened significantly. I wish there was an option for three inches wide. In my opinion, the folded size of 4" is a bit large, but obviously there are a lot of variations.
It's for my wound - I've got to use these A sanitary pad might be used in an area where a woman would also use a These are super absorbent, but they look to be made from cotton material inside of a mesh bag. Due to this tendency, the inside material tends to form clumps leaving the mesh exposed. As well, the hard ones seem to chafe a little more than the soft ones my doctor gave me. However, you'd have to say that getting 50 pads for this price is definitely worth it.
received these just yesterday, they are totally awesome, but they are not super It was nice, I used some for smaller spots as well, and I cut it The first aid kit is filled with them all the time.
In order to order these, I looked at the wound care supplies that were provided. In our first aid kit, we have ABD pads that are much thinner than the "first aid only" pads. In addition to the sealed exterior, all of the padding is contained within the box. When the package is intact, they remain sterile as long as the contents remain.
