Unlike the "swivel" type, which has a very narrow opening on one end, each opening is equal on both sides and works with standard tubing. It works with both regular and high-flow tubing (which is what I use).
No - The standard end of a cannula or supply tubing should be used with this. It isn't meant to be used with tubing that has been cut.
This is for a set of five.
This fits into a standard female oxygen tubing port; however, if the tubing has been cut, it will not fit.

I had a neb machine that wasn't compatible with neb tubing. When the machine was running, it would keep popping off. I got soft rubber tubing and hooked it up to the machine, then the splicer, and finally the nebulizer tubing. It's a cinch to use. I only knew how to use this method because of my previous job as a nurse, where respiratory therapy frequently used these small gadgets. I had no idea what a splicer was until now! On another site, it was referred to as that, whereas it is referred to as a connector here. Whatever! It works.
NOT! What is the diameter of the tubing? I have a number of nose appliances, but none of them will fit these. The tubing is roughly half the size. But I can't find any information about the size of the tubing on the packages, and all they say is that it's oxygen tubing. Nobody seems to be in sync. To be honest, the items are so inexpensive that returning them would cost more.
The tubing I use came with the first ones I tried, and I had no problems with any of them, so that's what I bought. There are other splicer types available, but I prefer these.
It works, but some tubings are too large for it. I wish the measurements were a little more precise, but they'd be fine for a thicker tube.
It was the wrong tubing for my nebulizer, and once attached, it wouldn't come out, so I had to break it and couldn't return it. What a blunder!!.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I ordered this device and received a different one. I needed the other device, which connects CPAP to the 02 concentrator, because I needed one of those as well, but I'm stuck trying to figure out how to get the one I ordered. Rather, I received this.
