I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. I simply remove a stack of them and re-use them. the bag should be closed I keep a stack of about 30 in the cupboard for easy access, and the rest is stored with my other bulk items. I'm not a big fan of repeating myself. Wrap that stack of 30 in whatever you want, and only having about 30 or so in the stack keeps them from being exposed to the air (e.g. Only the top filter is exposed to the air/dust for any significant period of time; technically, only the top filter is exposed to the air/dust for the time between fresh coffee pots.
According to one reviewer, these filters can only handle 4 cups of water before breaking down; however, I normally use 5 to 8 cups of water and have never had this issue with these filters.
Yes. I've been using these for over a year and can say that they're a good substitute for Melitta's name brand. The presence of a Costco on the ones I received surprised me. I wish there was a Costco near me.
The filters are made in the United States (Sheboygan, Wisconsin), according to the packaging.

My issue was that I had to empty and rinse the filter every time I made a new mug. I use 4 scoops of grounds per cup, which fills the cone halfway, and these filters fit perfectly and keep the gold filter from needing to be washed out before I make multiple mugs. The filters are strong and I haven't had any rip or leak on me yet. When I make a full pot, I use four quarts of water. 5 large scoops of ground will almost completely fill the cone without overflowing it. Whatever I put in it, the Cone is up to the task! br> During the spring and summer, I also save our grounds to use in the garden. The grounds should be allowed to dry for a day after being placed in the Cone Coffee Filters before being placed in a plastic baggie. If you keep putting wet grounds in a baggie, they will never dry out and will eventually mold. If you're composting, simply toss the cone and its contents into the pile. br>I used to buy Cone filters in small packs. This pack, on the other hand, is a gorgeous 400-count! I have two Ninja coffee makers, so they'll be put to good use! I've also used them to filter homemade stock; they're great at catching small bones and fine particles that you don't want in your finished product.
What are the benefits of using oxygen-purified filters? Well, let me tell you, I was in desperate need of some number 4 cone coffee filters, so I ordered these. I'm not the best coffee maker in the world; I can put the grinds in the filter and add water, but that's about it. As a result, I'm unable to distinguish between truly fantastic and truly terrible filters. What I can tell you is that these have been cleaned with oxygen. You might be wondering what that is, and I was as well. So I went on the internet and looked into it. br>br>You can use bleach or oxygen to make the filters white. White filters that have been oxygen cleansed are considered to be of higher quality than those that have been bleached, because who wants to drink coffee that has been bleached first? Furthermore, oxygen-cleansed filters are better for the environment because they degrade much more quickly than bleach-cleansed filters. You might be wondering why you should use white paper filters instead of brown. My wife and I drink a lot of coffee because we have three kids, and we can tell when a brown filter is used because the coffee has a slight paper taste to it. br>br>As a side note, these coffee filters are fantastic; no rips, no annoying collapsing (which happens when you end up with a pot of coffee grounds).
These are the same bulk 4 filters that I purchased for $3 at Costco in 2011. I was only visiting someone at the time and didn't live near a Costco, so it was nice to see these being sold by Amazon now that I need more. Despite the fact that they are twice as expensive as what I paid 3- Despite being 4 years old, they are still a great value and far less expensive than what I can find near my home. br>br>The only reason I took a star off is that they are about 1/8 inch shorter than the Rockline filters sold in 2011 and standard 4 filters. I still have some stock from my first purchase in 2011, and I measured these new filters against it, and they came up short, which isn't a big deal for me because I rarely make a full pot. The shorter filters may make a difference for someone who makes full pots frequently and uses a lot of coffee grounds.
I prefer french press, but I recently learned that unfiltered coffee, whether from a press or a metal/gold filter, raises cholesterol levels, so paper filters are the way to go. Grrrr . br>br>After that, I learned about Oxygen-Depleted Oxygen-Depleted Oxygen-Depleted Oxygen-Depleted Oxy Coffee filters that have been thoroughly cleaned This is a game changer. I used the same coffee, the same 200° water, the same brewing devices, and the same coffee today - These filters were the only thing that had changed. The difference in coffee flavor is like night and day. br>br>And, I believe, the price is comparable to, if not better than, the brown paper filters I was using previously. br>br>Wasn't it mentioned by another reviewer that these filters were slower than others? That is correct, but I also believe that the coffee brews better when it is poured slowly. I'm not in a rush; my goal is to make fantastic coffee. "How do you drink your coffee?" as they say. " "Seriously, this isn't a joke. I'm serious about my coffee.
I'm a big fan of them. I have a Techno Vorm Moccamaster, and these fit perfectly in the basket. Even though the basket is still damp from the previous pot of coffee, and I try to wedge them as close to the bottom as possible (to avoid that potential), not a single one has broken. They have no effect on the coffee's flavor, and it would be difficult to be happier with them for the price. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative I bought these with only a rudimentary understanding of the oxygen bleaching process. Organic and non-GMO foods are two of my favorite things. I misinterpreted this as an organic process because it was GMO. It isn't. However, oxygen bleaching is a far safer option than chemical bleaching of other white filters (though it is obviously less natural than plain brown unbleached filters). I'm still pleased with them and am confident that I would purchase them again - As a result, they deserved a five-star rating.
I don't use my coffee filters in the traditional sense. I have a reusable mesh coffee filter that I use to catch all of the really fine dust that the mesh filter misses. I remove the paper filter, clean it, and re-use it. It's about once a week that I replace it. These filters are tough enough that I've rinsed them twice and they're still going strong. Without the mesh filter, I think these would be fantastic as a regular coffee filter. I don't get any silt in my coffee.
