About 4 feet in length. My portable computer is also used for this purpose.
You've asked an interesting question. They were NOT SALTER LABS when I ordered them on 1/2/2022. SUNSET is where they came from. They look similar, with the curved nose pieces and a SALTER sticker on the outer container bag (clear plastic), but the individual bags inside hold the description sheet and clearly say SUNSET. That irritates me, so I'll probably send them back.
Not at all, but they do have a proclivity to bend at the point of attachment. It had no effect on the functionality.
The prongs of the nose are curved.

It's soft, it fits my nose well, even though my nostrils are close together, and the adjustment slide stays in place. I chose the 4 foot length because I use a portable oxygen carrier and also need a shorter one to connect to the home version, which has a moisture generator/collector to keep my nasal passages from drying out and cracking. Overall, I am pleased with the Salter 16SOFT, and consider the $12/5 pack to be a fair price; however, be aware that the same version is being sold for significantly more by some merchants.
They're swindlers who sell you something you don't want. Salter Labs Cannula products are not sold by this company. The items I received were from Westmed, and they were/are a poor quality product; the nostril inserts are particularly difficult to use. stiff, but not in the same way as Salter. I still have a headache after opening a package 2 hours ago due to strong and persistent gas/chemical odors.
I use oxygen 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and these nasal cannulas are the most comfortable for me. The prongs appear to be softer and more contoured than those I've tried before. I have to check if they're still on my face at night because they're so comfortable.
We were unable to obtain the 4' canulas from our oxygen supplier, so we turned to this site for assistance. They arrived in three days and opened one right away to check for odors. There is a faint odor that is typically associated with plastic or rubber; don't expect to be able to avoid it - It isn't bothersome in the least. Furthermore, as previously stated, the tubing that comes into contact with the ears and face is softer. Although Hubs has not tried them overnight, they are excellent for daytime use. Ideal for use with his concentrator on the go. This item has met my expectations.
No matter what the description said, and even after I wrote and asked the seller to double-check that they were what I wanted, there was a significant difference between what I wanted and what I got. Yes, he confirmed that they were the salter 16soft- The SOFT- 4, on the other hand, is similar to cooked spaghetti. I sent a picture to demonstrate the differences in paperwork, and you can see the difference between his canula and my 16soft- 4 canula. This seller isn't offering what he's displaying for sale. br>There is nothing wrong with the product; it is the seller who is the problem. He never sends the item that he advertises.
We've had good luck with these in the past. They are extremely soft, but after a few weeks of use, they harden up. This is our second purchase, and the first one came apart at the nosepiece within a few hours of opening the package, while the second one is unusually loud. br>br>There is a significant difference between the first and second purchases. If this isn't fixed, we'll have to start looking for a new supplier. ***HAPPY TO SAY that after contacting the seller, he promptly rectified the situation by sending a replacement package. I wish it were simpler to navigate these pages in order to find the seller.
I've tried every brand of cannula I can get my hands on, and these are by far the softest and most comfortable. Others left blisters on my upper lip due to nose pieces that were too long or too narrow. These are so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing them!.
The material is extremely gentle. The tubing is almost TOO soft. It is extremely comfortable, but it does tend to cling to the skin excessively after a while. I simply switch to a newer one more often than the more difficult ones. If you sleep on your side, I wouldn't recommend them because the tubing is too soft to support your weight. They're great for casual wear.
