Yes, this tubing has six channels and a star lumen design.
Yes! That is precisely what we do with ours. My husband has a trach, so we use a collar that fits over it for breathing treatments, but the little cups are the same as a regular nebulizer, so this works perfectly.
Flexible plastic tubing of medical grade
It's not a good idea to wash them because bacteria or mold can grow on them. It'd be difficult to get rid of the water.
Selected User Reviews For Oxygen Supply Tubing - 7' Clear - 5 Pack (Westmed 0007)
Because the tubing on this is thin and my old nebulizer warms it up, I'm concerned that it will break. However, so far (after a week), it seems to be holding up. They provided me with several sets of tubing in case one fails. It's hard to beat the price; my medical supply store wanted $30 for a brand name set that included the nebulizer chamber and masks as well. If you don't have insurance or a lot of money to spend, this is an excellent purchase. Because it says it's oxygen tubing, not SVN tubing, I was initially concerned about the connection ends. That isn't an issue with my Peri brand machine, and don't be concerned if some moisture builds up in the tubing. Simply remove the chamber at the end of the treatment, leaving the tubing attached to the machine, and allow the machine to blow down the tubing, if necessary, by placing your finger over the outlet. This will clear the tubing and prevent moisture-loving bugs from breeding in it. If you wanted to boil your tubing like some people do, I imagine it would turn into a goo-like mess. After giving a treatment, I simply blow it out to dry it out and clean the actual chamber, and I've never had a mold issue.
I bought these to replace my daughter's other hoses for respiratory therapy, and the hose popped 20 minutes into her first session with them. This was a brand-new hose that was supposed to be used for her therapy. I had a feeling they were a little flimsy when I first saw them in the packaging, but this confirms it, and I won't be buying them again.
After a short time, the tubing that came with my concentrator would kink and wouldn't lay flat, making it easy to trip over. The kinks would be so bad that I'd have to replace the tubing way before it was due, which is costly. br>br>This tubing does not kink or tangle. It's also light and airy - It's there, but I'm not aware of it.
My wife suffers from emphysema and relies on a nebulizer to help her breathe. These 7-foot tubes are ideal, far superior to the ones supplied by the Nebulizer vendor. They were delivered seven days ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend them, and I will purchase from them again!.
It'll come in handy if I need to move my concentrator and need a shorter hose, or if I need to supplement a 25' hose. In addition, the price is reasonable.
I was hesitant at first due to some of the reviews I read, but I went ahead and did it, and I'm glad I did. This tubing is a perfect fit for my Pari nebulizer. It does not fall off when in use. br>The price is reasonable, the quality is satisfactory, and it is now possible to obtain all of these things thanks to Amazon.
I'm irritated that the shipping was not prepaid; I was led to believe it was because the barcode was present, but the shipping was not. There is no mention of 1) whether it is prepaid or 2) whether the customer is responsible for shipping costs in the returns information.
This tubing for portable 02 tanks is far more user-friendly than the stiff, unyielding tubing that Ron at Sheldons Medical in Mi claims is the only option for the insurance patients he serves. Instead of dealing with the attitude, I'd rather buy this.
