It was extremely unsettling for me- I do not recommend this cannula because the prongs on the nose piece are too long and hard.

This has a medicinal/formaldehyde odor to it. It fades away over time. The odor dissipates if you open the pack and allow it to breathe before using it. They are good in every other way.

These are the absolute worst cannulas I've ever bought. The tubing is stiff and hard on the outside, but soft on the inside. However, due to extreme dryness, it builds up in my nose. These are terrible.
