Questions & Answers
After a few weeks of trial and error, I decided to order the ones provided by my oxygen suppliers. They're far superior. The Amazon ones kept falling apart, and the tubing tangled up.
We used them with a concentrator that delivered 5 liters per minute of oxygen. It's not an issue.
Yes, I've done it on numerous occasions. You can separate the two halves of the swivel by pulling hard enough. With a firm push, they can be reassembled.

These were purchased to try to increase the amount of time my daughter could spend in the house while on oxygen, but her oxygen levels dropped within 30 minutes of connecting them, and she had to be reconnected to the concentrator. I tried each one to see if there was one that was defective, but they all leak air where the swivel part is located. Get the straight ones instead of the swivels and find another way to deal with kinking because it's not worth it.
My wife is on a constant oxygen supply of 2 to 5 liters per minute. The tubing kept kinking, which was a major issue for us. I started laying the tubing out in the sun to dry - I'd straighten it out and bake it for a few hours to soften the tubing, which would keep it usable for a few days. Needless to say, this grew old quickly. br>br>One day, as I was watching her walk around, I noticed that the tubing formed a loop when she turned. She'd get a kink after a while and a couple more turns. She came across these, however. As far as I can tell, the issue has been resolved. The tube swivels as she turns, ensuring that it does not loop and, as a result, does not kink.
Swivel chairs should not be used- leak. If you try to put these on the oxygen tube directly, the oxygen flow will be almost completely stopped. If you don't use a female connector, it won't work. It's also a pain to set up. Also, the ones that swivel are useless. I tried them as well. The swivel end is counterproductive because it leaks much-needed oxygen.
I've been using them for a long time. For a reasonable price, you can get high-quality products.
It performs admirably. Because this is such a vital and important piece for oxygen users, it has to work perfectly. It's a tight fit. No air leakage or issues with disassembly; I'm very pleased with this product, and I especially like the swivel action.
Because we're in the business of replacements and spare parts. They connect the two ends of an O2 tube. They can withstand minor kinks, such as my stepping on the line or dogs laying on the line, without becoming separated.
With a 40' hose around the house, I'm forced to use oxygen all of the time. The hose tends to kink and become entangled as I walk around the house. This significantly reduces the severity of the situation. It takes some time for it to "loosen up," so to speak, and swivel freely. The "but" comment was added solely for this reason. This is a fantastic deal.
