That is not the case, in my opinion.
I purchased two on June 6, 2015, and they are due to expire on March 17, 2017.
Now I'm not sure why. This one, however, did not seem to be as effective as the other thinksport sunscreens I've been using for years. (The tinted face cream comes in red and black packaging.) I use it on my child as well because it contains great ingredients that are safe.
It's not sticky, but it's extremely white. Pasty, on the other hand, does a fantastic job. My son has never had a problem with it causing a skin reaction.

This sunscreen is fantastic; I've been using it on my baby since he was a baby (zinc oxide sunscreens without chemical UV filters are the only ones safe for babies under 6 months), and I've had no problems using it on my super sensitive skin; we both have very fair skin, and it's the only sunscreen I can use. It also has a pleasant scent, similar to that of a creamsicle, which fades after a few minutes. I'm very sensitive to sunscreen scents, and this one doesn't give me a headache like other sunscreens. On days with a high UV index, I put my kid in a rash guard and a hat, and apply a thick layer or a double layer of this sunscreen (rub in one layer, then rub in another layer), which works really well. If you're getting sunburned while using this sunscreen and following the directions, you may simply need to apply a thicker layer. Because this is a barrier sunscreen rather than a chemical sunscreen, the most important thing is to apply enough and rub it in completely.
This is an excellent sunblock for babies and toddlers. In the summer, I use it on my son all the time; it stays white, which I don't mind because it allows me to see if there are any areas that I missed. It adheres well to the skin, even when wet, and is easily removed with a washcloth. When my son wears this sunblock, he has never gotten a sunburn. It's a little more expensive than other sunblocks, but it's worth it in my opinion.
I've been obsessed with finding skin products that aren't toxic or contain only natural ingredients for myself, my husband, and now my children since we found out we were expecting a baby a few years ago. In terms of ingredients, consistency, scent, cost, and purpose, this sunscreen is the best I've found. My husband and I both use Thinksport sunscreen, and I use Thinksport Everyday Face as a daily moisturizer under my makeup. All of them are fantastic and receive high ratings on the EWG Skin Deep website.
It takes a little time to apply and rub in so that it doesn't leave a residue, and it is slightly sticky, but it is MUCH easier to apply than some of the other toxin-free, non-sticky products on the market. Physical sunscreens that are nano-sized. I also appreciate the fact that this is a more affordable option.
Sunscreen that is hazardous to your health! Think Baby sunscreen is one of my favorites. It glides on effortlessly and has a wonderful scent! When a friend uses my sunscreen, they almost always go out and buy some for their entire family! The best part is that it is non-comedogenic. It's non-toxic and family-friendly! Even in the sweltering heat of Florida, it performs admirably!.
I'm not a big fan of lotion, so this was a pleasant surprise. This is one of the best oil-based sunscreens out there, as it is not too oily to the point where you have to wash your hands for a long time after application, and it provides excellent coverage for both children and adults with sensitive skin! Good value for the three pack, and a little goes a long way!.
You get three good-sized tubes, and having three is convenient because you can keep one at home, one in the diaper bag, and one at the grandparents' house or at daycare. My son has very fair skin and would quickly turn red on his calves or cheeks if he didn't use this, so it's great for him! For him, it lasts the entire day. I bought it because of the positive reviews, and I won't buy anything else now that I've tried it. It's thick, but it doesn't irritate his skin or his eyes the way other sunscreens do after he sweats.
It's thick enough to see if it's working, but not so much that it's difficult to put on. It does not rub off or run into the eyes. There hasn't been a single burn in four summers.
