Over the last five years, I've owned two of these. The only reason I bought a second one is because I absolutely need a nose-guard. Only setup, and this headgear is the only one that seals around my face without causing my eyes to become damaged due to increased blood pressure. The issue is that, no matter how I've adjusted this thing over the last 5 years, one of the straps slips on my head at least twice a night, causing the seal on my nose to break, waking me up. I just want to be able to sleep for a few hours, if not an entire night. I despise having to settle for a product that is simply superior to its competitors but falls short of my expectations. br>br>It would be so simple for this company to design headgear that connected these two straps with another strap or two, or put netting between them to keep them apart while keeping the head cool. br>br>Another feature of this headgear that I dislike is that the straps leave a dent in my hair. Even though I shower every morning before going to work, the dents are still visible. My hair actually develops waves and even curls around where the dangling headgear straps go, giving me the look of Linus from Peanuts. I'm convinced that the people who design these things don't wear them, because if the straps were connected with netting or something, there would be consistent pressure on all my hair, and I wouldn't have to walk around looking like Einstein all the time.
These Resmed head gear straps were originally purchased from the company directly. I was delighted to make a second Amazon purchase for my routine CPAP headgear replacement. When compared to purchasing directly from Resmed, the prices are slightly lower.
This is the most comfortable one I've found, despite the fact that I don't like wearing any of them. It also doesn't leave any traces on my face when I wake up.
I find that this is the same quality that I used to get from a CPAP supplier, but at a lower price. They are good quality for the money and last just as long as the others did. I have purchased two additional pairs simply because I like how they fit.
I am pleasantly surprised that this replacement is made better than the original equipment. It's thicker and more durable than the original, and the velcro strap seems to hold up better.
This is significantly less expensive than my cpap website, so I'll be ordering more of these.
This particular model of strap is extremely difficult to come by in my area, so I'm delighted to see them on Amazon. After years of using my CPAP with this strap model, the newer models felt strange.
Exactly the same as the real thing. Just like my previous one, there was no trip to the cpap doctor, no copay, and no overpriced script. It's of excellent quality, so take advantage of it.
