The ingredient lists are nearly identical, with a few minor variations. Both of these will be copied and pasted below. br>Also, I haven't done much research, but it appears that the two brands are now owned by the same company, despite the fact that they may have been separate at one point. br>Aquaphor baby wash is a popular choice among parents. I'm not familiar with skincare product ingredients, so maybe it's there somewhere, hidden behind a generic-sounding ingredient. chemical name with a nice ring to it The reason I'm curious about the "chamomile essence" is that chamomile causes me to break out occasionally, so I try to avoid it in products if at all possible, or I patch test before using a skincare product all over my body. Since there is no mention of "chamomile" on the Eucerin bottle, it must be in the bisabolol, as it isn't in the sea salt (ha ha). br>I'll do some research on that name. 'Bisabolol,' according to Wikipedia. 'bisabolol is a colorless viscous oil that is the primary constituent of German chamomile essential oil.'br>That's great to know, and I'll add bisabolol to my list of ingredients to avoid. br>So it appears that the choice between the two is between having chamomile oil as one of the main moisturizers in the product (Aquaphor) or shea butter (Eucerin).
It works well for baby acne, but I'm not sure if it's a permanent solution.
I just got it three weeks ago, and yes, it came in three pieces, not just one, as some of the other reviews claimed.
Yes, I had problems with other shampoos irritating my scalp (expensive shampoos). I've been using it every day since then and haven't experienced any premature fading. I've gotten rid of my color.
Selected User Reviews For Eucerin Baby Wash & Shampoo, 2 in 1 Tear Free Formula, Hypoallergenic & No Fragrance, Nourish and Soothe Sensitive Skin, Unscented, White, 13.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 3)
My daughter's skin has been completely transformed by it! My four-year-old had been suffering from eczema for more than a year. She develops large, red, raised spots on the backs of her legs, which she scratches until she bleeds. Our dermatologist has prescribed two creams for us. Everything (laundry detergent, sunscreen, etc. ) has been switched to sensitive, fragrance-free versions. After that, we embarked on a nearly year-long search for the ideal soap/lotion combination. It had been a nightmare. We tried two different Dove's, two different Aveenos, two different Cerave's, and baby Cetaphil over the last 11 months because it was so expensive. Every single one of them triggered an allergic reaction in her within hours to days, leaving her itchy, dry, or slimy to the point where we couldn't put clothes on her. We used Eucerin as a last resort. I'm sorry we didn't try it sooner! My daughter has not broken out, spent her nights itching, or had any flare-ups for the first time in a long time! She has been so comfortable for the last month, it's been such a wonderful transition. Her skin is soft and supple, and she appears to be well-hydrated. Is her eczema completely gone now? Without a doubt. But it's worked better than any other product we've tried to keep her eczema under control! From now on, this will be our only purchase.
I'm a fan of Eucerin lotion and decided to give it a shot. Her skin cleared up quickly, even though she was still a newborn. There was no baby acne, only a mild case of cradle cap, and the dry skin was no longer an issue. I no longer use it as a shampoo, but I do continue to use it as a body wash. It has exceeded my expectations, and I would recommend it to any new mother.
The parents all agree that this is an excellent product, and I only recently realized that I could use it on my hair and body. The shampoo cleans and detangles my hair, which is a pleasant surprise. It's a shampoo and body wash that my husband uses. The shampoo makes his hair shiny, and it works better as a body wash than his deodorant soap. His skin isn't dry, and he doesn't smell like a perfume. This is fantastic!.
My dog has been washed with baby shampoo since she was a puppy. When the formula of the brand I was using changed, she began to itch all of the time. I started using Eucerin and the itching went away after the first application. For my little furbaby, this is now my go-to shampoo.
I've ordered this product several times and continue to be pleased with it; However, despite the fact that the product title clearly states "Pack of 3," I've only received one bottle the last two times I've ordered this product. My daughter suffers from eczema, and doctors recommended Aveeno baby wash, but it didn't seem to help much, especially in the winter. Eucerin was the best thing I ever bought. It is suitable for both eczema-prone and non-eczema-prone children. My children are now four and six years old, and I only use this body wash on them.
When this happened, he was about 2 months old. I have eczema and bought this in the hopes of getting rid of it sooner rather than later. The eczema cleared up after bathing him once a week with this wash, using a humidifier every night, and applying unscented sensitive skin baby lotion daily or as needed. My penny-sized eczema patch shrank and eventually disappeared after I began using this baby wash on my own skin. For me, it will almost certainly return at some point- It happens all the time! However, relief is welcome. If he gets any rashes or irritation, we use Honest baby diaper rash cream and, on rare occasions, just organic coconut oil on his diaper area. This has so far proven to be effective. More.
Before trying the Eucerin, we tried a few different baby shampoos (Johnson's, Aveeno, Mucela, Cetaphil). Our eczema was not aggravated by Eucerin or Cetaphil. baby with a tendency Both of those soaps were good, but I preferred the Eucerin because it is non-toxic. scented.
