Dissolve in a bath for your baby (not running water). However, a few 15ish minutes before bath, I would make a paste and rub it all over, concentrating on irritated areas, and then let my child soak in the bath and play in the water while it washed it away.

My 5-month-old son developed eczema on his neck and chest as a result of the irritation caused by his teething, which caused him to drool and salivate constantly. I was advised by a friend to give him these oatmilk baths several times a week. I could tell the difference after just one ostmilk bath. My son's neck and chest weren't as red and irritated as they had been. I give him these baths whenever I notice his eczema resurfacing, and it really helps to relieve the irritation. I'm glad I tried them, and I'd recommend them to anyone who suffers from eczema or a rash.
This was prescribed by the doctor after the baby developed severe eczema at the age of six months. We still only bathe our child with this or adult aveeno, and he is now six years old, with much less severe eczema. The only drawback is that it is no longer available in local stores, and at $1 per bath, it is not inexpensive, so it is not for everyone. However, it is well worth it.
I've used this product on my son's extremely dry skin several times, and while it doesn't seem to help much with his eczema patches, the rest of his skin is silky smooth! Because of this, I'll continue to use the item in the hopes that his eczema will improve over time. It's simple to use, but make sure it's thoroughly rinsed off the tub and all toys; otherwise, it leaves residue.
I bought this in the hopes of getting rid of a horrible itchy rash I'd had for over a month. Nothing I'd purchased up to this point had been of any assistance. The rash went away after a couple of weeks of using this and the Aveeno baby lotion with colloidal oatmeal. It also aids in the reduction of mosquito bites. After a long night spent by the fire pit, I gave my 3-year-old a bath in this. Around my house, mosquitoes swarm like piranhas. The bites were no longer itchy, red and raised the next day, and he didn't mind them at all. I really like this stuff, and I'll keep it in my tub for any future rashes my family might get; I also recommend the Aveeno baby lotion with colloidal oatmeal. It's fantastic!.
This stuff is good; I used it when my child was young (but not an infant) and when they got multiple bug bites, I made a paste with it and had them wear it on the redness or itchy areas about 10 minutes before showering, and it always seemed to help.
This has made a significant difference in the condition of my dry skin. I don't have eczema, but I do have extremely dry skin on my face, so I mix a spoonful of this powder with water and apply it to my face with a cotton sheet mask, and my skin is transformed! I like it because there are no more dry flakes.
I was hesitant to use it with my son because he has atopic dermatitis on his cheecks, but I gave it a try because nothing else was working for him, and let me tell you it works like a miracle. I can see it soften his skin and his cheecks look a little better than before.
Unfortunately, I am prone to poison ivy and frequently use Aveeno oatmeal baths. I bought the "baby" version because it was the only one available at the time, and it appears to work less well than the "adult/normal" version. It's a very fine powder that creates a milk bath effect. After using the regular version, I felt a little better, but after using this, there was no difference.
