The box measures 3 1/2" wide by 4 1/2" deep on the inside bottom. The back is 7 1/2" tall, with a slope down to 4 1/2" in the front.
Because there are three feeding areas, more than one squirrel can feed at the same time. It all depends on how nice your squirrels are to one another.

I have a lot of birds, squirrels, and even opossums visiting my yard to eat. Standing at the back door and watching everything is one of my favorite things to do. The squirrels required some space because they can be irritable when it comes to sharing. Because there is a place to stand, larger birds like my BlueJays and Woodpeckers prefer it to regular bird feeders, which I keep stocked. One of my favorite things that I've purchased for myself. The product's quality is outstanding. My opossums can remove the plexiglass, but only when it's almost out of seed.
It's well-made and sturdy. The quality of the work far surpassed my expectations. Our squirrels adore it and are overjoyed to have a new feeder. The instructions for "training" the squirrels to open the feeder are spot on; they figured it out in less than an hour. This is a wonderful piece.
