" It's too light, and there's a lot of vinegar in it. If the sauce had been thicker, the recipe would have been perfect. But it's the closest thing I've come across on the market so far. It appears to be simple to correct the situation. Only use good kalamata olives, extra virgin olive oil, and capers.
When you want the flavor of black olives without the bulk of black olives, this is a fantastic addition. It's great in salads for cacciatore and on a charcuterie plate with meats, cheese, and bread. Spread a sweet fig or date spread on top to add some sweetness. It also works in soups.

This item arrived in a package that had been opened and was leaking. Because I can't exchange or return it, I'm stuck with a jar that's been opened and is now leaking. I'm not sure how it tasted, but it stank. I'm not sure if that's a normal odor or if it's spoiled from being opened and left out in the open. Disappointed to the point of frustration.
