It's great for chefs who want to try new things (try mixing it with herbs)

It has the potential to produce some delectable dishes. It goes well with herbs that have been ground into a paste (I use a mezzaluna for this). To make an astringent, beautiful green sauce, combine mint or parsley with scallions and chives, as well as a single fillet of anchovie. Mint has a fibrous texture, so blend it thoroughly or use a mezzaluna to achieve the same texture as the scallions/chives. You can then cook it in the same juices as the meat you're preparing. Just a tasty idea I had, but the balance of the ingredients is crucial, and I'll leave it to you to figure out how to achieve that balance. I'd recommend making a paste with the mint, scallions, and chives first, then tasting it before proceeding or adding new herbs!.

Overpriced to the point of absurdity

The product is great, but it's way too expensive for what it is. A jar should cost around $4 or $5. Look for it in another location.

Top Teppanyaki Restaurants in Japan have a lot of them

I've had the good fortune to spend many years in Japan, and this is the best yuzu kosho available in the United States. It's frequently used as a side seasoning for high-end dishes like wagyu steak at Japan's best teppanyaki restaurants. It's also available in casual steakhouses, where it's more cost-effective for families. The combination of salt, citrus, and spice complements beef perfectly, and I've always preferred it. I keep it traditional and only use this with beef, but you could try it with other dishes you like. Because only a small amount is required per piece, don't expect a large bottle of this stuff when ordering. It'll last a lot longer than you expect.

It's tasty, but there's a lot of salt in it

Yuzukosho (a combination of Yuzu citrus peel and crushed red peppers) is a delicious addition to meat dishes and even noodles. Others may disagree, but I find this variety to be too salty. I'm going to try another brand because there are so many.
