My family used to have this with lamb usually whenever we had it in the UK. In our case, there was no mint jelly from the US. There is a thick consistency to this Colman's, unlike Cross & Son's In a bottle, the Blackwell version. In comparison to mint, more vinegar is necessary. I use it with lamb, of course, but I also boil the very small potatoes and toss them with the I enjoyed it very much.
