I'm in the same boat as you; I'm clueless. Perhaps Amazon sources these from a variety of sources. Personally, I always opt for the most affordable options. Cheers.
There are 1 bars in each row. 5 inches thick, 4 inches wide, and 3 inches tall. 5 in high, for a total of x 12. They're all in the same 12-pak carton at my local supermarket. (I'm down to my last one!)
Manner Wafers are named after the fact that there is only one Manner.

One of the most satisfying wafers is Manner Wafers.
These are from my hometown of Vienna, and they're usually fantastic. Because the contents of the Amazon package were mostly stale, it was obvious that it had been around for a while. This is unfortunate because it significantly reduces the pleasure derived from this delectable treat. br>br>So, I'm looking for a better source to get this because I know how good it tastes when it's fresh (like when I brought some back from our last trip), so I'm hoping to find one that doesn't have any old product, especially at the price that Amazon is charging for them.
Despite some reviews claiming that the wafers were stale, I bought them. Mine were brand new, with an expiration date that was several months away. It was exactly what I was looking for. I'm currently resisting the urge to place another order.
It's a must to try, and it's a must to love.
They were a rare treat when I was a kid because they were so hard to come by. It was truly exceptional to order 12 packages all at once. They were a lot crunchier than I remembered them being. I did, after all, send an order to my sister and father for their input. My son has expressed an interest in assisting in the decision-making process. As a result, he, too, receives a box. br>br>Because my cousin works for the company in Vienna, it holds even more weight.
It's delicious. These delicious hazelnut wafers were once available locally, but alas, they are no longer available. So, when I saw they were available on Amazon, I added them to my wish list; unfortunately, no one reads my wish list, so I gave up and ordered them for myself. They've improved since my last visit. The wafer is thin and crispy, but it doesn't get in the way of the delectable hazelnut cream. If you enjoy hazelnuts, you owe it to yourself to give these a try. It's nice and light. Because, once again, no one is paying attention to my wish list, I'll be ordering more! : ) Do yourself a favor and give these a shot.
We bought some to take home, but we ended up eating them on the way. They're fantastic! They're filling, but light and crisp at the same time. On the downside, it's too expensive, too sugary, and too calorie-dense to consume on a regular basis. For the holidays, here's a special treat.
The hazelnut filling is very rich and sweet, and the wafers are extremely light. Thankfully, because of the sweetness, I can't eat too many at once. Each teeny-tiny package contains two servings, which I consider to be quite generous; I get three out of each. Each recipe yields four servings. They are, however, an excellent addition to tea, coffee, and even milk. They arrived quickly and are packaged in a box that makes storage in the pantry a breeze. If you like wafer biscuits, these are the best available.
