I've bought these wonderful treats many times before, but this is the first time I've received a plain, way too large brown box with individually wrapped stroopwafels thrown in. In addition to the missing sealed Stroopwafel box, the number of cookies was several short when counted; when you pay a high price for each cookie, they should all be in the advertised box. br>br>The treat is made up of two chewy waffles that are very thin. as if they were round cookies with a light caramel spread in the middle They taste great right out of the package, but after sitting one on top of a hot cup of steaming tea or coffee for a minute or so, they feel even better and are even softer than before the steam heated them up and slightly melted the caramel inside. br>br>It's too bad they wouldn't allow a return so I could exchange for a proper box as advised; Clearly, something went wrong, and some were removed from the original package. I've purchased several hundred dollars' worth since June, and it's a shame that the vendor doesn't make exceptions to their return policy for situations like this; otherwise, I'd keep buying from them rather than switching to another company. Target sells them for the same price (or less on occasion), so price isn't an issue. br>br>If the company cares about their customers and contacts me, I'd be happy to update this.

Only 24 were received, despite the fact that he claims to be 36 years old. I placed an order for 36, but only received 24 as stated in the description. Be careful who you buy from.

WARNING! The expiration date is written in the European format (DD-MM-YYYYYYYYYYYYYY YYYY). I gave these to my coworkers to try, and they raved about them. These were given to me on my United flight, and I had to purchase a box. In less than two weeks, I'll be on my second box. This game is extremely addictive. br>br>Additional information- The date on the box will be in European format. br>br>Note that the date on the box will be in European format. I had no idea because I assumed the waffles had expired when they were delivered to me. I initially wrote a negative review, but due to a misunderstanding, I had to retract it.

I'm addicted to these cookies because of United Airlines. I was hesitant to purchase them on Amazon, but I gave it a try and am glad I did. I purchased a box of 36 individually wrapped jumbo wafers, which are identical to the ones I get in the air. Authentic, tasty, and reasonably priced.

I had intended to put them on my "Save for Later" list, but I'm glad I didn't. These are the same brand as Trader Joe's mini waffle bags, but they're far superior. br>br>These are packaged in a medium-duty cardboard box. intended for use in a store. Each one comes in its own bag. None of them had been harmed in any way. (Which only adds to the enjoyment of them all. ) br>br>Each has a smidgeon of caramel seeping out the edges (no skimping on the caramel, no dry bits! However, if the caramel is kept cool and dry (our cupboard could have reached 78 degrees F), it will not stick to the wrapper. br>br>Each one easily peels away from its wrapper - rip the seam from one end to the other, then across the seam. return the folds You'll have a lovely little envelope to hold the cookie in. Alternatively, you can follow the advice. Melt the caramel by placing the cookie on top of a hot beverage. The caramel, on the other hand, is sufficiently soft to be enjoyed without it. br>br>I visited Amsterdam for a few days many years ago. In addition to the numerous not-for-profit organizations, there are numerous for-profit organizations (getting a virus and being hit by a slow-moving tram - happy memories) My search for and purchase of stroopwafels was one of the happiest times of my life. I found them in a small bakery just a few blocks away from my hotel. I only bought a small package because I had no idea what I was getting. A huge blunder! I've made a mistake that I'm not proud of. br>br>From time to time, I've come across small packages of stroopwafels in grocery stores, which are crumbled around the edges and a little dry. Trader Joe's stroopwafels come in a variety of flavors. They can be fantastic at times. They can be crumpled at times. br>br>All of these stroopwafels are still warm. With their chewy centers, they are very crisp. They remind me a lot of the ones I got in Amsterdam (they have the same flavor). They have a well-balanced flavor. It's sweet, but not in the way that candy is. bar- sweet. So now I'm a happy camper with 36 individually wrapped cookies to transport me back to the happier parts of Amsterdam (the Art Museums, flower-filled walks, and friendly faces). br>br>As a result, I'll be returning. This purchase of 36 wafels comes highly recommended from me.

Stroopwafels aren't common in the United States, but they're reportedly popular in Europe. They were first introduced to me on an Icelandair flight into Schiphol, and I saw them at almost every breakfast until I returned home. Try draping one over a mug of tea, as directed on the package. It's ready to eat when the center begins to sag slightly. Guests who haven't seen them before are always blown away.

The box states that 24 dollars has been paid for 36 dollars. I was given 24 individually wrapped items instead of the 36 I had ordered.

During my travels in the Netherlands and Belgium, I fell in love with these. This is the brand that I purchased during my trip. Allow the steam to soften the cookie and the delicious filling by placing it on top of your steaming hot beverage. It's a joy to be around them.
