BEST. EVER. So, every year, I spend about $10,000 on Amazon for a variety of household items, supplies, food, and gifts. I don't write these very often because it would take me an eternity to write one for each purchase. These MoFos, on the other hand, are SOOOOO DELICIOUS that I felt compelled to write this review. Make sure you follow the instructions to the letter. They're incredible. I bought a 12-pack expecting it to last a long time, but I've already gone through four boxes in a week and a half. I mean. I even combined two boxes to make bars in a 9 x 13 pan - likewise fantastic I believe I am getting good value for my money here - they're R D's money was well spent because their chefs devised the ideal chocolate chip cookie recipe.
If I had the option, I would give a 0 instead of a 1 star rating. For several years, I've only used Ghirardelli Premium Cookie Mix, Dark Chocolate, because no other cookie mix could match the quality and taste it provided the first time I used it, which rivaled my homemade cookies. from- chocolate chip cookies made from the ground up THIS IS NOT THE CASE. On July 2, 2021, I ordered a case (12 boxes) from Amazon because my local grocery stores no longer carried the mix. I used two boxes, and the dough and baked cookies turned out to be reddish brown on both occasions. not the light color as shown on the box or in previous years It had lost a lot of flavor in addition to changing color. The other ten boxes were thrown away rather than consume unappealing calories. I considered donating to a food bank, but I'm not sure what caused the color flavor to change. I know it says it's a new recipe on the Amazon website, but I'm not sure when that went into effect, so I'm going to stick with homemade unless I find another good mix.
Chocolate chip cookies are my husband's absolute favorite. He's the very definition of a cookie junkie. For some reason, Ghiradelli Premium Cookie Mix is his absolute favorite. They are no longer sold in the zillions of supermarkets in our area- Thankfully, however- He was able to locate them on Amazon. com. and his life has become a lot more pleasant. Because he is a dark chocolate aficionado- He frequently adds a few more chocolate chips to the mixture- However, I believe the cookies are adequate as they are.
This cookie mix is simple to use, and it produces almost effortless, excellent, buttery-tasting cookies with or without extra chocolate chips. These cookies are even better when you add half a cup of white or dark chocolate chips. My wife bakes three 1 inch thick cookie sheets. From a single 16-inch cookie sheet, make 1/2-inch cookies. 75- once box. Thirty- For around $3, you can get a package of six cookies. The price of 00 is reasonable.
It's too fluffy and thick. There are insufficient chocolate chips. It has a milk chocolate flavor. It has a texture that is almost cake-like. If you like everything listed above, you will enjoy them. I'm going to use the Betty Crocker cookie mix again.
These chocolate chip cookies are one of our favorites. I've tried a lot of different brands as well as a lot of different recipes. These are the best, and we keep a stock on hand for when our grandson visits. I'm not sure why our local supermarkets stopped carrying it, despite the fact that they still stock Ghirardelli brownie mix and other Ghirardelli products. I have to keep a box on hand at all times, and the shipping was quick and the price was reasonable. I will be ordering again soon.
I recently used it to make cookie bars, which were delicious! I was hesitant to purchase 12 boxes, but they will be quickly consumed.
I decided to try these because I'm a chocoholic, but I had to supplement the few chips included in the box with my own. But that's just my overly chocolate taste. In the future, I'll buy a regular chocolate cookie mix and top it with more chips.
