I only purchased one box, but I paid less than $5 for it. If you purchase this, it appears that you will be purchasing one box for $17. 00, and it's a shame that merchants are raising their prices so much.

The Annie's Organic Animal Cookies appeared on Amazon's list of Gluten-Free items that it thought I might be interested in. Because I buy a lot of gluten-free products from Annie's and had been looking for a gluten-free animal cracker, it was my fault for not paying closer attention to the item details. I couldn't wait to try them when they arrived. I took a bite of one cookie and knew right away that they were too good and tasted too much like the little red boxes of animal crackers from my childhood to be Gluten Free, so I looked at the box again and sure enough, they were not Gluten Free. Wheat! Ugh! Thankfully, I've been gluten-free long enough that my most recent celiac test revealed that my numbers were nearly normal, so a bite of the cookie shouldn't make me sick, but Amazon's algorithms need to be improved, as this isn't the first time something non-GF has appeared in a GF listing for me. I'm usually pretty good at spotting things that I shouldn't buy or eat. I am confident that my nephew or mother will enjoy it. Bummer!.
We love Annie's, but these aren't something we'd buy again. They have a laundry detergent flavor, according to my son. They have a bitter aftertaste, which I believe is due to the flavor's hint of lemon. They have a crunchy texture and are an appropriate size for children. It's a shame the flavor wasn't good!.
Review has been updated: These were $3. 50 each when I bought them. a box of nine I see they've risen over six dollars in less than a month. These are nice, but I wouldn't spend more than $4 on them. br>br>I like how there's a hint of lemon in there. I ordered three boxes, and they've all arrived in good condition so far. The forms are attractive. You can tell whether you're biting on a tractor, a barn, or a cow because the bite marks are clearly defined. Suitable for small children or adults, such as myself, who prefer "plain" cookies with easily identifiable ingredients.
Normally, these are fantastic. I bought them at Target and devoured the entire box in one sitting. This box tasted terrible, despite the fact that it was within a month or two of its expiration date. I'm not sure what happened, but they weren't half as crunchy as the other box AND tasted weirdly like plastic or cardboard; I won't buy them again.
My husband eats them all the time, so it's a problem! Please, please, please sell them in large containers!.
I arrived alone and without a box. All the cookies had was a label slapped on them. Strange. br>br>You're lucky, only a couple of them arrived broken, and my kids love them.
I was in desperate need of some farm animal cookies. Until I came across these, all I could find were circus animal cookies! They looked like farm animals, tasted good, and were of good quality. For the amount of money in the box, it's a bit pricey. I'm going to buy them again.
The taste is identical to the original animal crackers, but they are made from organic ingredients. Giving these to my granddaughter makes me feel a whole lot better. They are adored by her.
