This was a problem with my lunge whip since it wasn't providing enough pressure to my horse. My horse was on the move immediately after I tapped him on the tush. Keeping up with the pace. When he took off the stick and string the second time, I had only to show the stick to him. In addition, my daughter also found this training tool to be very effective It creates a sense of respect with the horse right from the start My horse can go in the direction I want him to go, making it easier to control. The glue they use doesn't seem to work well in the heat where I live, where it gets in the 100s. I had to take off the leather top the first time I used it. My horse was attacked by the projectile. In any case, I was not happy with In light of this, I rephrase Duck tape was applied for good measure after I had glued it myself. Although I haven't run into any other problems with it, the fact that it has this flaw is truly disconcerting. There is no other way to keep it together, so they need a stronger glue. As far as I can tell, the rope and pole that it comes with are both in good condition.
