You can make delicious tofu with it. This is a very fast way of curdling The product to use when you want the best tasting tofu should be this one. It was about 40 years ago that I made tofu for the first time and I used these ingredients. When I tried other things, the tofu did not taste as good as when Nigari was used.

It is easier to use than gypsum, but adds bitterness to the flavor. Use no more than 34 tsp per half gallon of soy milk for the purpose of experimenting on store bought soy I had to add too much salt to my tofu to make it.

Packaging in the warehouse is poor

The product was delivered in a timely manner, but the outside was covered with a scent that appeared to be fabric softener/detergent. It was very disconcerting to pull the package out of the package, covered in a viscous goo, as the bag was still sealed. I will wash the outside of the bag, so I can use it (after washing the outside).
