Delicious when warmed up in the microwave. 10 minutes on high in the microwave 12 minutes (11 1/2 minutes for me) for a small to medium acorn squash ) in a microwave safe rectangular tupperware to catch liquid, with about 1 1/2 tbs of butter and 1 1/2 tbs or 1 1/2 tbs of brown sugar (any type) either packed% The steam from the bowl will be visible. The squash can then be scored (or before the butter/sugar is added) to allow the butter and sugar to marinate inside the squash. The flesh is a pale yellowish-green color. The outer skin is a dark green color, and the inside is orange.

Received in excellent condition, cooked two for Thanksgiving, and then two more a month later - Even after 6 weeks of waiting, the condition is still excellent. I'll place another order as soon as it becomes available.
