Who are they? Where are they ?

Here in South Florida, they are grown locally.

The ripeness of these grapes is between August and September?

When the skin of ripe bananas wrinkles, you know it has reached maturity. It looks a little funny, but the flavor is wonderful!

Welcome to Melissa's Produce, Savannah. Thank you for your interest. Frozen passion fruit can be used later on. Scoop out the pulp and freeze it in an ice cube tray if you are freezing it. Using a plastic freezer bag, remove the passion fruit cubes from the tray and store them once they are frozen. Here's what I hope will help you. I recommend Churelle Hill, Melissa's Produce, and Best

The best time to buy fruit is when it is in season?

A great place to go during the summer is a beach.

We like ours sweet, thick, and juicy
5/5

I just wanted to say that I am extremely pleased with this product.

This is my first order from Melissa's. To be honest, I am addicted to passion fruit. In fact, I love all kinds of winter fruits, from figs to persimmons to mandarins and pears to Despite all of my favorites, passion fruit has to be my favorite. I have been able to buy Pasion Fruit from my local Whole Foods since late summer through I did not hear anything more. During my withdrawal, I was in a withdrawn state. There has been no decline in the passion fruit craving and the craving has only grown. It was a little hesitant to order the book from Amazon because of the mixed reviews and my uncertainty over the quality. Take your time with this fruit since it's a bit pricey. It was my addiction that got the best Those silly me, I'm a junkie. The short answer is that these are awesome. The service was quick. The packaging was good as well. A fresh delivery of fruit was made. There were different stages of fruit ripeness, which was much to my delight. It is evident from the photos that I am holding the ripest ones—the super wrinkly fruit that looks like a puppy made out of Sharpei. First I ate those and then I put the rest in a bowl under a skylight in my bathroom to ripen. This is the only place in the winter that gets enough sunlight and warm to ripen fruit. It is pure bliss to eat 2 or 3 every day for breakfast. The fruit is as follows The pieces have a deliciously heavy weight to them. It took me a while to realize there is a difference between Melussa's Passion fruit and the ones I purchase at the grocery store. It is by far heavier than Melissa's. The inner flesh of the denser fruit is more sweet, so I was not disappointed when I opened it up. This fruit is thick and juicy, almost like a syrup, with lucious jelly inside. They are huge, and they are delicious. Passion fruit addicts will rejoice. This fruit has both tart and sweet qualities at the same time, but it is definitely more sweet than tart. Its aroma is heavenly - perfumed. It is perfection. My addiction is sure to be satisfied soon and I will order more for myself.

This is one of the best passion fruits ever! Passion fruit was something my wife and I enjoyed so much while on vacation in the Dominican Republic
5/5

I searched Amazon because it's not available here in Pennsylvania, so I decided to buy it from there. Because of Melissa's positive reviews and free shipping, I decided on her. The first time I saw them, I was surprised. A very strong aroma emanates from them. Then there is the ugly part. The rot was evident in their appearance. However, that is not the case! As you can see, this is what passion fruit looks like when ripe. There was nothing like the inside of this chicken. There's nothing else like it in terms of flavor and texture! This fruit from this seller is highly recommended. Here is a picture of how the fruit looks, so you have an idea of what to expect.

In the case of three of the dozen, they were sick and had begun to rot
3/5

I don't think the money is worth it. Mold was already developing on 3 pieces and their soft sides were rotten. Considering how poor the quality of this product is, I am surprised there are so many good reviews. It was good to try the ones that did not have mold or rotten sides, but that was a gamble we will not take.

You are really getting the real deal here
5/5

Several stores in my area that used to carry imported New Zealand fruits no longer do so now that passion fruit is grown in California. The local crop, however, produces very sporadic results, meaning that you can't count on finding them consistently. In the end, Melissa's seemed to be the best option given the short notice.

The fruit arrived in good condition and just as it was starting to ripen, which would have been These were finished in a paper bag with bananas that were not quite ripe. It was a few that went funky (though none went bad), which is the usual rate of success. The result was that despite advertising a dozen, I actually received 16 and won! When I compared the ripened fruits' flavor to the frozen pulp from an Asian supermarket, I was convinced that shipping and ripening were well worth the effort. At the store, it was cheaper per pound than anything I've ever purchased at a grocery store. The only thing I would like to point out is that 12 (let alone 16) were far more than I could use. If there was an option to order six, that would be nice You did a lot to help this fruit lover to do his recipe right. . (In the first photo you can see the fruit as it arrived, and in the second photo you can see it after ripening a week ago.

There is a poor taste and quality to this dish
3/5

The quality of this product is terrible, two-star An estimated third of the fruits had black mold on them. There is a small amount of pulp in every fruit. Since COVID-related restrictions were put in place, I have been unable to purchase passion fruit at my local farmers market The place has 19 restrictions, so it's a bit challenging to reach. We have never had anything of this poor quality in our local market. Polar Bear Store probably sells these fruits on Amazon rather than throw them away. It is impossible for me to buy them again, and I would never recommend them to any one.

Bringing back memories from home
5/5

My family is from the Dominican Republic and I was familiar with picking "chinolas" (pata fruit as we call it at home) from a backward fence. My children had never tried passion fruit juice before and I wanted them to sample it as they enjoy the juice we purchase at the supermarket. I was cautious that it would be good but I really wanted passion fruit. In just three days, a box was delivered to my door, and the fruit was sweet, but also tangy. You just can't go wrong with that! It has been a huge hit with my children! The price here is a little high compared with home, but it is definitely something I would buy.

The passion fruit you crave during off season is available at a good price
4/5

They took a long time to arrive, arriving on Friday, 2/15, after having been ordered on Sunday, 2/3. Our original order consisted of 18 pieces but three had to be discarded after being received, leaving Normally, these are $2 each at produce junction in south jersey, so we bought them for $20, which is a good deal. These are small balls of royal jelly (golf balls), but they each contain a heaping teaspoon of it. It is great that they arrived in a variety of stages of ripeness so we can enjoy some flavoured apples During the next few weeks, you can have 2 per day. Overall, it was great! Not perfect, but not bad either!.

It was wonderful to see them! This is a huge and juicy fruit! Quite possibly the best passionfruit I have seen in quite a while! I've never seen a pulp so filled with juice
5/5

There were no bad ones for me, as some other reviewers had. However, they did arrive in a standard box, so I cannot comment on the shipping process. I just ate them over a period of 3 days, so perhaps if it had been left in the heat, it would have been different as the box was not temperature-controlled or equipped with cooling packs There was no difference in quality after four days. There were no overripe fruits. Perhaps it was the season when they were purchased? It is well worth the money and I will buy it again, but I will watch the month in which I buy.
