So far, all of the yellow passion fruit has been consumed. I believe that we should give them a month to mature.
a deep purple
Is the fruit actually shipped? I placed an order on October 1st, and it was supposed to arrive yesterday... but it has yet to arrive.
Some are on their way to me. This is a question that should be answered by the seller.

PF FARM Mostly Green Fresh Underripe Small Passion Fruit is a more accurate product name. Because passionfruit does not fully ripen on the vine, getting green fruit is a major issue. Green fruit, on the other hand, is essentially inedible. The majority of the fruit we received is unripe; some of the unripe fruit will ripen slightly over the next few days, but it will never reach the deep purple color shown in the picture. br>br>I knew we were taking a chance on a fresh fruit product with a low review count that was being shipped long distance, but it fell far short of my expectations, and I am unable to recommend it to anyone. This is made worse by the fact that we paid extra for expedited shipping in the mistaken belief that we would be receiving ripe fruit. Oh, and did I mention it was supposed to be a gift for someone who loves passionfruit and travels in the winter? br>br>With a product like this, which has a 10x markup and a low review count, the seller had better deliver on what is promised. Except for the delivery time, this order was a complete disappointment that fell far short of my expectations.
I believe I have spent a total of 12 pounds, and I intend to continue doing so each month. These people grow fantastic crops, which are also delicious! My packages arrived ahead of schedule on every occasion. In this order, I got 20 purple and 20 yellow. I've attempted to upload the photos several times but they will not load.
The passion fruits were of excellent quality/flavor, almost all of them were medium to large in size, and there were no spoiled/rotten ones so far (I ate 9 pieces). br>Will buy again without a doubt!.
I would have complained because they were smaller than I expected, but the seller compensated by including a few extra in my package, which I thought was thoughtful and proactive, and they arrived sooner than I anticipated. They had just been picked. When you opened the package, you got a whiff of their sweetness. They're very tasty. I intend to return as a customer.
Passionfruit is something I really enjoy. I even have two self-producing plants of the same variety to plant in my yard. When I first opened the box, you are greeted by a delicious aroma of fruit. During my online research, I discovered I'll have to wait for these beauties to wrinkle and ripen, which is something I prefer in large quantities of fruit or vegetables. Keep these cool to slow the ripening process. I'm thinking of making a Passionfruit Cheesecake with some of the juice from these. It all sounds so delicious! My purchase has made me extremely happy. If you enjoy passionfruit, which is high in vitamin C, you should try these. That's exactly what I did, and I'm very pleased with myself! br>Another thing to keep in mind is that These took 2 hours to complete. It will take 3 days for the fruit to begin to ripen. They taste great.
My wife discovered that passion fruit was one of the few things that helped her feel better while dealing with bad nausea during her first trimester while on a recent trip to St Lucia for a baby moon. The nausea began while we were on this trip, so not knowing what would and wouldn't work for her wasn't ideal, but tart fruits proved to be extremely beneficial. Passion fruit is hard to come by in New England, and it's nearly impossible to find in a local grocery store during the winter. br>br>I looked online for specialty fruit stores, as I had previously purchased some random fresh fruit online, but I couldn't find anything that was a reasonable quantity and would also ship quickly. br>br>I ordered these through Amazon on our last day in St Lucia, and they arrived within a few days despite not being prime eligible. They all looked great when they were unboxed, and they were all ripe within a few days, but it was nice that a few were ready to eat right away. They also gave us two plastic tools to assist us in properly cutting the tops off these fruits, which was a nice touch. br>br>The only thing I could possibly complain about, and this is unique to our situation, is that I'm not a big fan of these fruits myself, so they were really just for my wife, and despite buying the smallest quantity I could find online, we had to throw out at least half of them once they turned. I wish I could order in half-dozen increments, but I understand why they don't have that option. br>br>At the end of the day, this is good quality fruit, and I was hesitant to order fruit from some random FL farm through Amazon, but it turned out to be a great experience.
The best ways to have a good time - halve two or three, scrape into a cup, add a little cold apple juice, sugar, and sparkling water, and drink it whole, seeds and all. A good vanilla ice cream, such as Breyers or Strauss, is also delicious.
These passion fruits are incredibly tasty and inexpensive when compared to supermarket purchases. I can't seem to get enough of them! I've bought from them at least six times because I'm obsessed with passion fruits. They are, without a doubt, superior to the passion fruits I had in Tahiti, which is saying a lot. I've had several friends and family members buy these from all over the country, and they are without a doubt the best passion fruit company in the United States. I'm looking forward to receiving my new box in a few days! If you're looking for PFs, don't waste your time at a farmers market. Here is where you can buy them. It will save you time and money, and the results will be superior to those obtained from other sources.
