As a natural food that aids in weight loss, starfruit (Averrhoa carambola) were of interest to me. The dried starfruit I brought back to the store are so sugary sweet and covered in so much sugar that my purpose for buying them has been defeated. Neither the ingredients nor the price inform the buyer that the product contains sugar, so.

Due to the reviews, I was worried it would be rubbery or bland, but it worked perfectly in our trail mix themed around space. I like the crispness. This dessert is not too sweet, but still I had a lot of fun working with the kids!.

It may be small, but it is sweet! Although I have no problem with the size of Star Fruit as candy, I think smaller is better- There is no better reason than this It was delicious!
