It was a very disappointing experience
3/5

Since the Corona Virus hit us in March, I've been buying all my produce from Amazon Fresh. In every shipment of blueberries up until now, I have been so satisfied with their quality - This cereal, cottage cheese, and ice cream topping is firm, mold-free, sweet, and just right. Driscoll Farms' last shipment of blueberries, which I have been receiving since March, did not correspond to the quality of the blueberries I have been getting. The 6 oz. pot consists of two 6 oz. In the end, I did not have more than 6 ounces of the containers I ordered after I removed all the ones that were soft, squashed, and starting to mold. My doubts about trying again are so strong that I am really hesitating. It has also been my experience that Driscoll Farms don't always have the best selection of blueberries in stores.

Blueberries from Whole Foods are different from those from other organic stores
3/5

Angry. I feel so let down. Different blueberries come from different sources at different times of year or are available at different times of the year. I agree that they are awful tasting, they almost taste like plastic. Mixing these with other items will be fine, but they lack the amazing fresh taste that the other organic blueberries I get always have. The regular blueberries from Whole Foods are significantly better. It's hard to tell but make sure you read the listing really carefully to avoid this scam. The little details that help tell you which listing you want, like listing pint instead of ounce, can be important. I find it very frustrating that the organic description can never be trusted.

It is extremely expensive for 'conventional', but it is very good quality
4/5

Generally, the price of conventional blueberries on Amazon Fresh is still TWO times the price of conventional blueberries from whole foods. There is no soft silken tofu in Fresh, and I had to order $40 worth of groceries to get them delivered. I think I only got half the blueberries I paid for for $6 (please tip your driver. . . there are many essential workers who aren't paid as much as they should, and they don't get paid as much as they should), so I feel cheated. I'm very happy with the ones I got! I love the ripeness of this fruit. Still, it is barely enough. I'm afraid that if I were the kind of person who bought organic, the 24 berries we received would have been even more overpriced. )

I gotta say, most people should just go with By avoiding those foods, you won't have to worry about missing out on any of the "nutrition" that you're supposed to be losing. Well, I guess it depends on whether it's frozen or thawed. When I woke up yesterday morning, I just wanted some fresh blueberries with my yogurt. The small handful of blueberries my boyfriend ate before lunch also helped get rid of all the 24 blueberries.

In the meantime, we received a 5ib bag of frozen blueberries that contained "2X the amount of antioxidant power compared to conventional (or "normal" blueberries, or whatever they called them) (they weren't organics My personal preference is to avoid buying organic if I can, and this isn't just because of the price. 2) I don't know if that's true, if anyone holds them to that claim, or if there is even a way to measure 'antioxidant benefits', but honestly? Despite the steep price, the deal was good. Please excuse me while I leave you in the dust with my conversation about "organic food. " Therefore, organic farms yield FAR less produce and with the same area of land as conventional farms because of a number of factors There is an unfortunate misconception that organic agriculture equates to sustainable agriculture, and Genetic modification is the only method for feeding the world in a sustainable way that is accessible by all in the long run. It is known that organic farms use a number of pesticides, many of which are quite toxic as compared to conventional farms. This is because organic farms choose not to use synthetic pesticides instead they use natural I hope you don't think this is the 60s, The use of synthetic pesticides in those days, when DDT was widely used, was probably a However, modern fertilizers and pesticides are getting safer and safer, as well as being much more effective The more efficient the system is In modern conventional agriculture, farmers need LESS water, but still need to use more nutrients, they are using safer products because they refuse to use newer, safer and more efficient synthetic pesticides. Organic farmers are unable to use safe, modern, safer, better and more efficacious pesticides. So it is! It's not enough to buy 'certified organic' because it has a label if you want to support local farmers. There are only a few BIG companies that make most of it. Rather than doing this, the best practice is to simply shop at There are many in the Twin Cities, including one downtown in Minneapolis)! It is also advisable to sign up for a Community Supported Agriculture box or a box of "imperfect produce". There may be a need for you to pick it up or to have it Using a subscription depends on which plan you subscribe to. If you do this rather than buying "certified organic" food, you will actually support your local farmers (some of whom might even be already somewhat organic! You're spending more on worse food grown by less efficient means, which is what you're getting when you drink 'USDA certified organic' kool aid (&mdash In other words, I mean "fall for marketing gimmicks", which is something we all do sometimes with a degree of frequency. I highly recommend the Don Draper's of the world as they are probably the best in their field).

It's terrible to have organic blueberries
3/5

I have had terrible experiences with the organic blueberries from Amazon. Out of them are sprouting branches. Blueberries have to be cut in half so that I can use half of them. I find the quality of this product awful. The fact that they have not switched to a blueberry vendor despite my feedback is very disappointing.

That all looks moldy and old
3/5

The first thing I did upon arriving was not to closely examine them. The next day, I discovered that they had started to spoil when I took them out of the fridge. Not what one expects to find, it's soft and moldy. It was very disappointing to receive this shipment of berries. It is not a service I will use again unless it is absolutely necessary to. I am extremely disappointed with it.

The package is small but the taste is big
3/5

You simply cannot expect anything better or more than what you get when you can't pick them yourself. The package is small for the huge price, so get them when they're on sale to get a good deal.

This is the best blueberry season I've ever had! Blueberries are something that I enjoy quite a bit Crisp, tangy, and sweet, but also flavorful, must be the key features
5/5

It can't be emphasized enough how crisp the food is. The blueberries were just as they were supposed to be! This has been the first time in my life that I have purchased blueberries at the grocery store that were this good. You just can't resist eating them because of their delicious flavor and their burst of juices. There is no mushy texture.
