Propylene glycol is the fourth ingredient on the list. I didn't bother to look at the ingredients because I assumed it was all coconut! Sugar, water, propylene glycol, and wheat are some of the other ingredients. This isn't the product for you if all you want is coconut.
It has a strong flavor. While preparing oatmeal coconut chocolate chip cookies, I found myself eating it straight from the bag. I will buy from you again.
It's soft and not overly sweet, and the pieces bake up perfectly (recently as ANZAC biscuits). It's far superior to anything I've ever seen in my local supermarket.
Because I bake frequently, I prefer to purchase some of my supplies in bulk. This item was delivered promptly and in good condition. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
The flavor is bland and lacks a nuttiness burst. This b tea will not be near my German chocolate cake frosting, but I will mix it into cowboy cookies. I'm sure I'll find a use for it, but I seriously doubt I'll order it again. I wish I could give a positive review because I am a huge fan of all things Canadian!.
I couldn't stop myself from eating it straight from the bag. This stuff is delicious, and it's hard to stop eating it.
I used about half of my coconut raw and unprocessed. However, I'm going to toast some of it in the bottom of an iron pan or on a cookie sheet to bring out a more nutty flavor. Because this is a sweetened coconut, keep an eye on it because it quickly transitions from toasted to burned.
This coconut worked well in baking for me. I used it in holiday neopolitans and rolled thumbprunt cookies in egg white and coconut, which turned out to be both beautiful and delicious.
