It's our favorite split pea (even though Amy's is better). It's also incredibly easy to do. All you have to do now is add water and let it cook! It has a little too much salt, like all good soups-- 630 mg. each portion
I'm sorry, but I didn't use a crock pot to make this. I'd simply set it to a low setting and leave it on all day. But it's a fantastic soup!

So much so that I inquired about the recipe and she informed me of it. I immediately placed an order for the 6-pack. If you want to keep it simple, all you have to do is add water. Use chicken or chicken bone broth and/or smoked turkey if you want to get creative. TASTEFUL!.
At one end, the door is open. I took out the box and opened it. br>At least one end of each of the six bags was not sealed. There were a lot of peas in the box! br>I had to clean up the millions of peas that had spilled all over my floor! What a thorn in my side. br> br>Half of this had to be thrown away. br>I snapped a few shots. br>I'd like to be reimbursed!.

This soup is one of my favorites! It's incredibly simple and tasty, and all you need is water. I like to add one to two teaspoons of bullion powder for extra flavor, as well as ham (just one of those mini hams from the grocery store) chopped up and added for protein and flavor.
