The answer is that I do not know. It is a soup I grew up with and I only order it very occasionally despite the fact that I am 80 years old Canada was Dad's home country.
The year was 2020, according to the time I checked. Despite this, the can came with a dent in a cardboard box, as it was packaged loose in a carton. No evident signs of leakage were present at the time, so we decided to take a chance.
There were three 796ml cans that I received.

This was my favorite book back then, and I was thrilled to see it was available to buy again. The taste of the drink is exactly as I remembered it, but it was over $12 for a can - I probably won't buy any more. What is the tariff rate for imports?.
I've been eating Habitant pea soup for at least 65 years, and I've enjoyed it every time. I like it a lot. However, at the moment in the United States, it is also fairly costly. In the past, it was reasonably priced in the U. S. It was once widely available, but has since become much less common. When I was living in Canada, I was still able to buy it for a reasonable price. In the U. S. I do appreciate being able to savor it when I get a chance. A special treat for you.
Those are so I can send them to my mother down south amazon shippers dent the cans before shipping. My mother won't eat it because she says the can shouldn't be eaten once it has been compromised. I will have to track down an Amazon replacement now that I already have time. I hate PITA.
Our only issue is that two of the cans we received were damaged. Since these items cannot be returned under the return policy, we are unable to return them. Money we can't afford to waste.
Almost $14 for a can of soup makes no sense on earth. CRAZY is the best word to describe that. Write an assessment if asked to do so. There will be a lot of blood.
It so happened that I love split pea soup, so I ordered it to be shipped south, and I found it to be so delicious The best I can say is so-so.
There was nothing wrong with this soup. In the end, though, it was not so superior as to match.
