There was a chalky taste to it! Despite being a vegetarian, I purchased this product partly because the picture on the can didn't indicate that bacon was involved. Can one explain to me why such a company would include bacon in The soup makers would sit around their meeting table deciding what would sell the most cans of soup, and though they would lose millions in sales because of the bacon, well, they would include it anyway, because "who cares about Muslims and Jews or young people. ". I never said bacon so, anyway, that's all. In my case, the taste turned out to be chalky, so I looked at the microscopy Each ingredient is listed with its own lettering. What a gross idea! There's LARD to be found here. A soup made from the melted fat off of a pig's buttocks. The poison in my body made me feel sick. I was duped. I was betrayed. Furthermore, the taste of chalk was overwhelming. Chalk is eaten by who? I tell you what Jews and Muslims are not the same!.
I did not realize that there was only ONE can of food. Due to my haste, I reapplied quickly, but I do so at my leisure. Rather than spend that much on steak, I would have preferred to go out for dinner. Habitants may be a bowl of soup, but it is still not a bowl of soup. Taking a lesson from the experience.
There was damage to my can that I received. There are signs of damage to the can, despite it being wrapped. If I'm spending US$16 delivered for a can of pea soup, I expect a perfect product, and I suspect it was shipped in that manner. As I had planned to give this as a gift to a former Canadian who grew up with this product, I have changed my mind.
Not only does it bring back memories of childhood, but the recipe is delicious as well.
Despite the great flavor of this soup, I think it is not worth the price, and I also ordered the flavor without ham and both contained smoked ham. Due to the fact that this is a food item, I can't return it either.
I was worried about Amazon, but they saved me! This soup is my favorite.
I can't imagine what the flavor of this soup is. There isn't much flavor to it. Maybe if you added a little spice, it would be okay. My order will be one time only.
This soup has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I'm in love. You can tell the difference between green pea soup and yellow pea soup by the taste.
