When I lived in Solvang, California, I used to eat at Andersens. In the past, I have done this several times. It is absolutely delicious in their restaurant, and they also have canned soup that is pretty good. Due to moving out of state, I have not been able to find it for years. The fact that Amazon sells it in cans is a nice touch. With the exception of a little more saltiness, the soup still tastes great. In contrast to other canned pea soups, which tend to taste and look disgusting, this one tastes fantastic.

There's only one thing better-going to Solvang, California, to see the store. I can't visit my favorite split pea soup place as I live a few miles away so this is perfect for me. It's the best split pea soup I've ever had. Pea soup does not appeal to me at all! The only place to buy.

A ding is present near the bottom of one out of three cans

An item with a low rating has been dented. A few of the cans have dents near the bottom, and one of them is a bit cracked. I can't see any opening in this so I think it should be ok to use. There should have been some notice from the person packing.
