There is just one packet in the order. The gravy I prepared took a little time to steep for 1 1/4 cups. As long as we had it we were willing to pay for it, as it served as a memory food for us.

Over mashed potatoes, it's delicious. Even though it is pricey, it is well worth it. The mix is absolutely delicious and I have been using it for years. The taste of it is so simple and convenient. I use it in meats and vegetables as well as in stews. Amazon helped us find it in the area since it was so hard to find in our area. Now I am ordering the largest quantity, even though it is expensive. I thank Amazon for being such a great company!.
