My taste for it has changed, and now I buy it instead of making my own. Depending on who is consuming the product, I may add pepper for pepper lovers or spicy sausage drippings for an extra kick, but the product is great as it is without the additions.
Unlike any other country gravy, this is top notch. Pickup used to be available at Publix supermarkets, but they have discontinued carrying this item. It's so wonderful to find it on Amazon.
The only place I can eat it is at her house, because it just isn't the same elsewhere. One thing she can't do is Even though she always gave it a go (I hope she never reads this lol) it always tasted like warm paste, so this is the recipe she used for years.
