Questions & Answers

What is the non-toxic status of this product Do GMOs exist?

As far as we know, this product is not harmful Genetically modified organism.

What if I don't refrigerate this?

In a cool closet, I store this item until it is ready for use. My habit is to place open bottles in the fridge once they've been opened. have never tried storing a wine bottle anywhere apart from the fridge, so I can't tell you whether it's a good idea. The bottles, however, are not hermetically sealed or vacuum sealed when they are manufactured. In other words, if you keep the item 'clean' (and at least cool) you could store it without refrigeration.

Does the soybean from which it is produced have a round shape Do you have "ready to go" ?

Soy beans that are "Round Up Ready" do not conform to many organic standards within the United States. Please keep in mind that standards vary throughout the world, along with the permitted labeling. FYI (sidenote It is more likely that you are concerned here not by the seed of the beans, but by what has been done to them.)

Is the sodium level in the food high or low?

It contains 322 mg of sodium per 1 tablespoon, according to the product description. The amount of 966mg per tablespoon would be the same.

A low-quality product It is an utter lie to claim that sodium is on the rise
3/5

It annoys me when false advertising appears! While this food has a fantastic taste, it has a ridiculous amount of sodium. It is very salty when I taste this and I'm so sorry I took the chance to try it. There is a claim that this sauce is low in fat. The element sodium. In their list of ingredients for this product, they use a very misleading trick The other soy products available on the market are The ingredients listed for each sauce type are based on one tablespoon. One Teaspoon is the basis of this brand The following amino acids are found in each serving (1 tsp) of Ohsawa Nama Shoyu I don't think it's too bad to have 5 calories and 322 milligrams of sodium, especially when it's compared to Tablespoons are equal to three teaspoons, however. As a result, 966 mg of sodium is equivalent to 1 gram of In that case, low sodium means the opposite! The low-income They have a sodium version too). It is unheard of to see any sauce with more than 966mg per tablespoon. The bottom line The people in this group are lying. Especially for those of us who try hard to keep our sodium intake to a minimum for health reasons, this is utterly unconscionable, unethical, and simply wrong. Please accept our sincere apologies!.

DAVATA is a great product, but beware of it
5/5

DAVATA is not the place to purchase this item. I received it in an open bag with the top of the bag ruptured. Having said that, this is still a salvageable product for fermentation. It was a waste of more than 30 dollars. We're not buying from him. The product is amazing and I have ordered it before. Looking for a seller who is willing to refund damaged goods!.

You guys are the best! This sauce is one of my favorites
5/5

There is such a refined and flavorful palate to it There is no better soy sauce than this! Soy sauce is essential in all recipes for which soy sauce is called for. LOL! I get anxious if I see that the battery is running low. It is sometimes difficult to find a salt-free soy sauce. There are some who are seeking this. The fact that this is salty is inherent in its nature. Exactly how low sodium they mean is COMPARED to the sodium present in other soy sauces, not as low as the sodium in other To understand the context of a statement, you need to recognize the language used! If you aren't afraid of salt in soy sauce, buy this one, it's the best!

P. When one of my bottles arrived broken, a new one was sent right away. Customer service is great for Amazon as well as for the vendor!.

The best soy sauce comes from properly fermented and aged soybeans
4/5

There is a huge difference between this soy sauce and any other soy sauce out there! Yes, this has been fermented for more than two years, so you cant mass produce it like you can the crap in the store. Even if the FDA says soy is good for you, it does not really represent the truth. It is therefore advisable, if you intend to consume soy, to consume fermented soy so your body receives at least some aid from bacteria that naturally break it down. In the event that it were $10 cheaper, I would give it 5 stars.

A wonderful shoyu at an unbelievably low price
3/5

Three stars for the price, not the product. I found it to be great when I got it for $19. It went from $25 to $35 all of a sudden, so I decided to bail out. As we wait for the price to come down, we will use the Kikoman green label light soy on sale, which has less sodium and preservatives, but unfortunately comes with them.

A true gold mine, in terms of its taste, quality, and the depth of flavor it adds to dishes
5/5

Gold Mine is the best of Nama Shoyu, raw and properly named. Adds the most depth to recipes, especially for those including meat. You can use it in things like guacamole, or in salads like Kale. It is a great investment by the way that this bottle lasts a long time. Furthermore, I soak almonds overnight, add a bit of this to them and then sprout them after one day to increase protein content and more digestibility. After that, I dehydrate them, so that I can make "Sprouted Tamari Almonds" a raw foodie favorite. In place of Tamari, I use this, too. Not sure the difference between the two, but they both share a similar taste.

The best shoyu with no additives I have ever tasted
5/5

I love the taste of this shoyu, it has a very refined and clean taste. Having lived in Japan for more than 20 years, I had used Kishibori shoyu here (my favorite in Japan isn't available here, but I have had it at times over there), and without any complaints. It is a quality product that I recommend. However, because Kishibori was out of stock on Amazon last time, I bought Ohsawa instead. Those who are looking for shoyu that is all-natural would find both of them satisfied These products do not contain any alcohol or preservatives. Each is a shiyus with a 'koikuchi' flavor (strong or heavy) This sauce is great for sashimi, the holy trinity of shoyu, sake, mirin, and shoyu, butter, and garlic fish. They are NOT low sodium, however, and I reduce volume or concentration when it's an issue.

The smell and taste of this product are incredible
5/5

Would you consider paying $30 for it? It doesn't seem that way to me. Even so, I think I will buy another bottle when it runs out since I will keep the bottle for a long time. There is only one criticism I can think of, which is that there needs to be some kind of flow meter, as it is really hard to dispense directly from the bottle to a plate of food or bowl of rice. If I may assume, you are supposed to put this into a vessel that acts as an intermediary, but I don't want to. As an aside, I think this would be great on popcorn as well. I was surprised by how bad it was.
