There is nothing Kosher about this
3/5

However, even though it was labeled as KOSHER fish sauce and was packaged in a bubble wrap stating that it was kosher, there was no heck spelled on it. In addition to not certifying this product anymore, Circle K who certified the product in the picture confirmed the bottle was not kosher and they will no longer certify this item. This is disappointing as there is no return policy on this item, and I was really looking forward to making Pad Thai!.

Thai food is one of our favorites
5/5

This fish sauce is a bit milder than most. Unlike the previous one, this one seems to be better suited to the American palate. Besides anchovies and water, it has nothing in it. The whole 30 diet has been working out and eating low sugar products like this are welcome to our household. I love Thai food and we have been using this without It's pretty much possible to achieve Thai flavor with this fish sauce paired with coconut aminos (instead of soy sauce), plenty of lime juice, and of course some hot pepper. As for the coconut aminos, they taste rather like soy sauce, but they are slightly sweet, so they fill our pseudo-food with the necessary sweetness We're trying to avoid sugar while on a sugar free diet so I'm looking for Thai recipes. ), kosher. It is said that the ingredients are the same in both. In kosher food, nobody touches the non-kosher meat, and it is supervised to be sure that no non-kosher products are used There is an inadvertent inclusion of kosher contaminants. Most of the time, it's just Purchasing the regular version if you do not keep kosher will save you a few dollars Regardless of how it is prepared, it will taste exactly as it does now.

I found this for a bit of a price but it's so nice to find! While my husband and I maintain a kosher lifestyle, we enjoy Thai and Chinese foods
5/5

Since so many of us do not take part in It's pricey but we really love this fish sauce. Kosher ingredients in Asian cooking are hard to come by, so we have to be creative to make kosher Japanese, Korean, Thai and Chinese cuisine. As far as we know, it is the only kosher fish sauce out there, and we are very glad to be able to use it to make our favorite dishes. As far as Asian food goes, we are always on the lookout for kosher ingredients!.

I've been using this fish sauce for years
3/5

We found this at our local Asian store for $8. It is really a quality product, you just can't beat the ingredients that are in this. As you can see on the label there are only sardines and salt in it, so the low rating is due to the price. This bottle would have cost 99 cents less on Amazon but is twice the size.

There are a lot of great fish sauces
5/5

Red Boat 40n had a milder and less salty finish that I enjoyed. I would rate it as one of the best when it comes to a subtle only fishy taste with a hint of salt. Since I have sought and been accustomed to paros for many years, I just wanted it to be what it used to be. Even though I was skeptical about it, I still prefer it to all other Thai fish sauces. A Vietnamese fish sauce called Golden Shell became my new benchmark after I tried it. Yet it hasn't been dethroned, but I am having a hard time getting it. As good as teriyaki sauce, this fish sauce is almost as good. Among the top 10 are both Red Boat 40n and Auxiliary 40.

The Kosher Thai cuisine is too salty, and has little or no fish taste
3/5

Why bother? Fish sauce of this nature is the only kosher certified fish sauce on the market. My task was to prepare a kosher meal according to the orthodox standard. There are some fish sauces that I know that taste great but aren't My God, what a horrible thing to happen. A meal with this sauce would taste bland with little of the fish sauce aroma necessary to enhance the flavor. My first experience with the brand left me more inclined to prepare kosher meals without fish sauce in them.

You must be kosher to practice it
5/5

Finally, an OU fish sauce that is kosher! In pad Thai (of course), I used this and it worked well. Additionally, I have also heard that it is great on Brussels sprouts. Be aware that it smells a lot, but that means it is a good one.
