This is a gallon-sized can, is it not?

There are 55 ounces in the box. This is a little over 1/2 gallon, according to a gallon is 128 ounces. There are quite a few olives in the bowl.

In what type of spice packet will you find the spices?

This is a proprietary blend of mustard seed, oregano, parsley, garlic, and red pepper in the packet. I appreciate it.

There is an advertisement for green olives that reads "Gallon Style", but the bottle actually reads 5 pounds 6 ounces. Would you mind telling me what kind it is?

I understand the container is a gallon, but the weight stated is the drain weight, not the product with brine. Thank you very much.

There was a leak in the plastic jar! It cannot be recommended

Wrapping the neck and cap in plastic is a good idea, but since the jar is plastic, it bends when other heavy items are placed on top of it. No air bags were found around the jar. It fit tightly in the box with air bags only near the cap end. There is no way to stop the leakage from these cheap plastic jars. A label on the jar reads Irrespective of when you open, you should refrigerate immediately. Now that the liquid is murky, it is hard to see. They are being returned to me.

This is not as flavorful as the small kind, and it is very salty, but it is good for slicing and making a deviled egg look lovely.

It was lost in the first shipment, and when it was replaced, it was so hard I had to put it in a blender to make it Quite tasty, but not at that price I would not buy another gallon of these. Would you like to buy another gallon of these?.

A great value for the money

Costco used to carry large quantities of olives, but now you have to go to Costco Business Warehouse to get them. I needed a large quantity of olives for a potato salad and I was too tired of buying small cans. I ordered it from Amazon and found it there. Despite their small size, these olives tasted great and were plenty for my needs. I now have another can (2 pack) for future use. I received my order within a reasonable amount of time.
