00 each. Over the span of less than a month, why has the price tripled? No more will I buy them.
This is the second order of olives I've placed over the past year with no complaints. As I opened the first can of this most recent order, a white substance floated on top, so I left it be without tasting it. I thought maybe it was a problem with the additives not dissolving because the next can had the same problem. I tasted a few and found them to be very metallic in flavor. Initially, I thought, this sounds like a post-Covid change in my taste buds. But after getting back from the store, another reviewer also reported this metalic taste. Not sure what is wrong, but I'm returning these Here's hoping they can find the problem and fix it.
In 2020, we had a clown show, like white on rice. I love the flavor of this. The texture is fantastic. Buying with confidence is a good decision.
There are no words to describe how delicious these olives were. Firm and tasteful, extremely plump and firm. My usual brand of snack food is more readily available in upstate NY, but once I find this brand again, I will go out of my way to find them.
So this subscription deal is perfect for me since I use a lot of black olives. Our family enjoys olives from different countries, but California olives are a standby for snacking and recipes because of their overall value and convenience. The quality of the meat is always good, with little pit pieces or mangled meat. It is a plus if the tops can be easily opened.
Despite the fact that it does not say sliced, it does say pitted, so I expected whole olives by the picture. I wanted whole olives and got sliced, and I cannot use them for what I intended, but the flavor is good so I use them.
