Good day, there! While the exact expiration date varies by batch, our Assorted Portion Control Fruit Spreads have a 6-month shelf life from the date of manufacture. We hope this information is useful.
While the Best When Used By date varies by shipment, our fruit spread singles have a shelf life of 6 months from the date of manufacture, and we recommend using them within that time frame for the best taste and quality.
Thank you for your inquiry, Allyson! Our portion control fruit spreads should not be frozen because this will shorten their shelf life; instead, keep them cool and dry until ready to use. I hope this information is useful.

Selected User Reviews For Smucker's Strawberry Jam, Mixed Fruit and Concord Grape Jelly Assortment, 0.5-Ounce, 200-Count
The jelly packs are delicious and much more convenient than having to refrigerate entire jars of jam. I can always take a few packets with me when I'm out and about, and keep some at my desk for a quick snack with my crackers. br>br>My main complaint with this product is that it only has a three-month shelf life, and there's no way I'll be able to consume 200 jelly packets in that time. And, while I understand that these don't actually expire by the Best By date, I'm the type of person who will throw away anything that has passed the package's stated expiration date. I don't like to take chances when it comes to my food safety. br>br>Overall, great flavor, but it's a bummer to get a batch with such a short shelf life; if you're buying this for a family, shelf life shouldn't be an issue, but I bought it for myself.
I didn't have time to read the description, which was located far below the product page, and I'll take responsibility for that. I always assume that when it says assorted flavors, it means an even number of flavors. It turned out there were 120 grape flavors, with strawberry and mixed berry flavors filling in the gaps. Of course, now that I look at the product description, I notice that. The reason they don't include it in the product name is to entice people like me to buy them and then expect them to buy the strawberry separately. br>br>This is a ploy to get you to buy more individual strawberry packs after you've finished with that flavor and still have a lot of grapes. These advertising gimmicks irritate me. In the future, I'll simply learn to buy single packs. It was entirely my fault. br>br>There is absolutely no value for money.
Grapes predominate over other flavors; I wish they were distributed more evenly. That said, it arrived on time, with no damage to the package or product, and we used it as part of an "airplane" themed giveaway (we had a tray and this went with the bread roll). It was ideal for the job. br>br>They are simple to open- my 2. She knows how to open them and enjoys eating them by herself at the age of five. br>br>I wouldn't buy it for my kids because it's too expensive (it'd be much cheaper to just buy a jar!). ) However, if they enjoyed making lunches in school or if you're throwing a party/baby shower and want everyone to participate, this would be a good option.
It's been 5 months since the last update. That's fine in my opinion. Because the "Best By" date is not the same as the "Use By" date, the jelly can be consumed after the "Best By" date has passed. br>br>I'm guessing grape is their most popular flavor, so include more of it in your packaging. I think 100 grapes and 50 of the others would be ideal because they could be stored in the box separately by flavor and still fit, but I got 120 grapes and 40/40, as the description states. I'm not sure why people are slamming them for purchasing flavors that are clearly stated in the description. They most likely forgot about them, and we're surprised the amounts weren't equal.
Unfortunately, the selection is poor. Is this for real? Is it true that there are 120 grape jelly packets? How about 40 jars of Mixed Fruit Jelly and 40 jars of Strawberry Jam? Smuckers makes a variety of flavors, as far as I'm aware. This is completely absurd!.
food donations that are friendly! Because I don't know the recipients or their preferences (12/4/4), I bagged proportionate amounts to add to 10 families' food donations. Grape is a favorite of most children, so Smuckers' abundance of grape was well-planned and makes sense to me. When purchased from Amazon for $11, 20 of these packages equals a 10 oz jar of jelly for under $1. I also included a jar of jam for the parents, which was significantly more expensive on sale! This is an unbelievable deal!! Nice mix. There will be no strewn-about jelly jars here. It doesn't need to be refrigerated and stays fresh for a long time My first and second boxes have an expiration date of 4 months plus. The only drawback was that the first box contained leaking Mixed Fruit jellies due to improper sealing. What a messed-up situation! The next day, Amazon sent a replacement. Box 2 did not contain the manufacturer's defect. The outside packaging from the manufacturer is sturdy, and neither box was damaged during shipping. For quality control, I gave a poor rating. Mixed Fruit was unsealed and partially sealed on every layer of the first box. How did this box get out of the factory in the first place? A high level of quality control is required in the food industry. br>br>I would highly recommend this product if purchased for less than $12.
Soggy bread is not a favorite of my child's. I bought these for him to take to work with him. His bread doesn't get soggy from the peanut butter like it does from the jelly. It was a hit with him. I also take them to lunch with my boyfriend. They are said to be delicious. You get a lot of them, and they're packaged so they're easy to use. They come in a box with sleeves, each of which contains one of the flavors, so all I have to do is pull out the sleeve and the flavor they want. We haven't used them as much for my son because of the covid situation, but we still use them for my boyfriend's lunch.
This SMUCKERS is a big hit with my wife, kids, and dog. IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS AS WELL I guess it's the freedom from the jar that we enjoy the most. You're well aware of how filthy the jar can become when it's taken in and out of the fridge.
