What do you think of this filling as a cake filling?

This product is a total favorite of mine and I keep buying it over and over. This is what I've done with it stirred it into whipped cream, and baked it with leftover turkey. Since I bake cakes and have used jam in the past, I am pretty confident that this will This is one reason why we like it so much. It isn't as sweet as cranberries, which makes us like it so much. Berry size is small when compared to cake filling, and this is another plus. Those who know Husby know he loved this brand when he was a kid.

Can you tell me how many ounces each jar/container contains?

Approximately 14 jars are held in each. There are 5 ounces in one container.

The sweetener is a source of what?

There has been no mention of fruit pectin or sugar on the label. Sweden does not use anything but real sugar, and I believe they use that in other countries as well.

Excellent product
5/5

I use it all the time Since a trip to Ikea has satisfied my need to visit Lingon in recent years, I rarely venture there. Nevertheless, I have been looking for alternatives because Ikea's Lingonberry preserves seem to have fallen off in quality over the years. This product is clearly a step up and has a competitive price. Amazon Prime provides added value which makes it a better buy. In addition, I might add that the packaging is excellent. Among the top two brands I've found, this is one of my favorites.

This is excellent! Tart and sweet, with a little bit of berry flavor
4/5

A package that has not been This lingonberry jam from Felix Brand is AMAZING! There is nothing better than this! There is no congealed or overly thick consistency. Instead, it is like a cross between a jam and a This flavor is out of this world! The jam is sweet enough, but it has a slight tart taste, and it is dotted with berries. The balance between the two is excellent. This is the jam I use with almond butter on toast. I love it! One negative I can point out is that my order was damaged when it arrived. An entire bottle of the product was broken or cracked, and leaked everywhere. There was only one thin layer of bubble wrap surrounding the bottles, and the boxes were quite large so the bottles must have rolled about In addition to the packing material, there was no other material.

Enjoy the finest of Swedish cuisine! The lingonberry is a common ingredient in Swedish cuisine
5/5

As an accompaniment to many Swedish dishes, particularly köttbullar (meatballs) and k*ldomar (stuffed cabbage rolls) as well as raggmunk (potato pancakes), they are recognized as essential. Lindonberries, also known as winterberries or lingonberries, grow wild in Sweden on small bushes in woods and A scrabbler, or a wide fork, is used to pick them when they ripen in August and September Stripping a bush quickly can be accomplished with a tool like this. Even though the berries tend to look attractive on the bushes, they are not suitable to consume in their raw form due to their bitter taste. The fresh skin is very hard and shiny. If sugar is added to them, they become soft and pliable. Once they are a little sophisticated, people use them to make desserts and with game, meat, fish, as well as with desserts. Their bitter taste combines well with the sweetness from the sugar. Known as a powerful antioxidant, lingonberries help protect the skin from sun damage. These berries contain powerful antioxidants that can neutralise the sun's rays. It is said that lingonberries can assist in preventing some types of infection and cancer and help ward off certain types of cancer. Sweden was historically known for its high consumption of lingonberry jam during the winter when the jam was served with porridge for breakfast, as well as with most main course dishes.

This tart and sweet snack is great for any time of day
5/5

Definitely a combination to be reckoned with. Because I am of Scandinavian descent, I don't know why I was never introduced to lingonberries learned about them only a few years ago and now I'm making up for lost time. I ordered this two-pack at just the right time. My packages have arrived very well as I have packed them several times now- Bubble wrap is used to protect the product. My favorite lingonberry preserves are the Felix brand because they aren't very sweet like some of the other brands I have seen. Tartness comes through in this brand of preserves, which complements the sweetness well. You can put jam on pretty much anything and I love it. On my PB, it was the letter J Today I had a J sandwich for lunch. A little goes a long way, and it has a slightly looser consistency than jam so you can remove it from the jar with a spoon rather than a knife.

In Sweden, I did not get quite what I expected
3/5

2 pieces in a pack, but I didn't need more than 1. I like the tart flavor, but it's not the same as before. This has a bit of a twist, and I love how the sweetness and sourness mix. Cloudy, grainy, pasty might better describe the atmosphere. However, that isn't the case. This is a good idea. A couple of weeks ago, I had it on pancakes. All you need is a small amount of oil. This pie is a favorite of mine with the rhubarb and sour cherries, so if you like sour, this is for you. My pleasure will be to enjoy it with some real Swedish food, when I have the resources to actually go to the market and buy Covid is the result of.

The flavor of lingonberry preserves is both sweet and tart
5/5

In a nutshell Swedish lingonberries are used in the making of this preserve from Malmo, Sweden. There is a tart and a sweet taste to it. Having a mug of it for breakfast along with my waffles and pancakes is my favorite. The berries also went on top of my vanilla ice cream a teaspoon of them. I'd like to add that my guests have always enjoyed it since it is new and not like the other The dish is served with meat dinners such as steaks and meatballs in Northern Europe. When you order a Swedish meatball plate at an IKEA, you usually get a teaspoon or two of these berries. It might be challenging to find these Swedish jars here in the U. S. In the past, they have always arrived within a few days after I ordered them from Amazon.

You can eat it with bread and classic meatballs, too! My product is sustainable, and comes from Swedish wild picked berries that are fantastic
5/5

I bought it for a good price. There has been an effort on the part of this company It has more flavor than cranberries and wild berries.
