It is not my opinion whether this product is good or bad. An example of a packet of bay leaves is shown here. $4 seems like a good deal to me. It is expensive to buy twelve bay leaves for 99. You may not think it's the case, but I do. So I bought and planted my own bay tree, and as soon as I get older I will be able to harvest my own leaves, but for now they must be purchased. In soups, stews, boiled beans, and especially dry bean cooking, this ingredient plays an important role. It wouldn't taste right if we didn't throw in a few bay leaves to our red beans and rice. Because of the price, I was only able to give this product a four star review.

"Eco-friendly" seemed a little over the top to me It would be wonderful if packaging could be more "green". There is no need for me to use bulky containers made of plastic or glass. Nevertheless, this little box was so small that the plastic covered bay leaves had to be bent nearly in half There are no leaves left due to all the leaves being I am not happy at all.
